New 7” Accessory Q’s

Hi! Just ordered up the 7” AR-V with MP-5 style front end. I’m new to PCC’s and an amateur enthusiast. A few questions:

  1. Good flash can recommendations? Kinda want to try using the tri-lug, but happy to use the threaded one.
  2. Recommendations on a top picatinny rail that will allow a SureFire flashlight mount offset to the side? Or any light for that matter.
  3. Middle of the road recommendations for a suppressor/Silencer for this set up. Again would like to take advantage of the tri lug. I’ve never used one before - know I need the stamp, that’s about it.
    3a. What adjustments to the ar-v for the suppressor/silencer recommended?
  4. Reading the FTF thread - would welcome any messages on cures for this should I encounter it.

Hopefully I can help…

  1. don’t worry about a flash can, just keep the trilug
  2. @GamecockOperator has that same setup and Hopefully he can help you with that. I prefer streamlight pro tacs for rail mount
  3. YHM makes good, affordable suppressors. I currently have a Rugged Obsidian 9mm in jail though. I wanted it for its modularity and its use of a tri lug. Hansohn Brothers sells tri lug stuff at decent prices. Silencer Shop is the way to go for a can.
  4. 9mm PCC are known to have issues with hollow points. Try FMJ first and go from there.
