Regardless, THAT is a SWEET looking rifle right there!

Best jmac stock, too. Almost as nice as the original mpx folder it’s similar to. Wish they hadn’t discontinued those.

I would have much rather seen the PSA ACRish stock. I have 2 JAKLs both SBR’s and still waiting on the PSA stock.

F5 has terrible CS and prices

ACR discontinued and can’t be found

There are just no options out there for an ACRish stock.

Everyone would like to see the jakl with a true Rifle-Length barrel. But with these dark legal clouds hanging overhead like confiscation of “Assult rifles, pistols, and blowguns”, make paying a heavy price even difficult an investment. And if Hunter Biden gets elected like Joe wants, well we can all stop fooling ourselves.

I’m definitely holding out for the ACR-like stock. I’m also not crazy about the significant price hike from the pistol to rifle version. I get it being a little more, but +$400 seems a little steep.

Question: does anybody know why all the complete JAKLs in black seem to feature the most basic pistol grip and trigger guard, while the other colors have the Magpul upgrades for the same price? Or are the black JAKL pictures just not current? Has anyone ordered the black and gotten it with the upgrades?

Thunderdan, I was thinking the same thing. I’ll be ordering a rifle upper kit when they get them in stock and will update.

I know the JMac stock is around $320ish by itself. Then the JMac KeyMo flash hider is another $115.

Looks like they have 2 different versions the MOE and the Classic version.

I haven’t seen the price on the MOE yet as it hasn’t been in stock yet, but it will be even more expensive than the black classic version that was in stock yesterday.

As for the stock and muzzle device, I wonder if they will offer a little less Gucci versions in the future. I’d be happy with a non-suppresser compatible muzzle device and a home grown ACR-like stock. Might save a few bucks and get it a little closer to the price the braced pistol version was.

After seeing the Shot Show footage I really figured the first “rifles” they’d drop would have their own stock on it, not another manufactures stock. I know the one at Shot was a prototype, but they seemed sure it was very close to production. So who knows maybe it is right around the corner.

I already had a stamped lower and already got my stamp back from ATF for the 300BLK JAKL, was really hoping by time the ATF did their thing PSA would have dropped their own stock. So I’ll just sit and wait patiently because there are no other options out there that I like besides the F5, but I won’t do business with them after reading through horror story after horror story.

FYI Form1 with ETF digital finger prints came back in 28 days from submission if anyone was thinking of SBR’ing a JAKL.

Welcome to the forum @KRoyal

28 days must be a new record. I didn’t know ETF prints were a option. I’ll have to look into that. Share your knowledge if you want to.

Thanks,

Sorry meant EFT File.

I used the National Gun Trust website to schedule mine. It was $60, they call you get some info, then schedule your appointment. Mine happened to be at a local UPS store. I went in and did the fingerprints on the machine. About an hour later I had the EFT file in my email for download. ATF just opened the form 1 up to the EFT files recently. I figured $60 for a reusable finger print file was well worth not having to get finger print cards and snail mail them.

Most definitely going that route.

Guess I was wrong about the MOE version being more. Just got email for the FDE MOE version and it’s same price as the black classic one.
