I did appreciate his candidness saying for the money you’re better off buying an AR 15 that has been refined over the generations. But if you want something different, it was a good option .
As if they weren’t hard to get already, it’s going to be impossible now.

I literally got two different in stock notifications today!
Doubt that will happen. The jakl has always been shown in 9mm platform with the AR-V lower,which uses CZ mags.
it’s ok, im sure psa understands the quality mag swap action of the glock mags being far superior and would make the 9mm jakl as cool as their 556 jakl
not to mention the mat9 is basically a glock fed jakl that has a plastic guide rod
In that community (being the 9mm/PCC/AR-V crowd,) Glock mag compatibility is huge and a big selling point for many. It’s a feature they should heavily consider if they already aren’t.

I was checking my email today when I got the notification for the Moss Green/Burnt Bronze Forged Sabre M110. I decided to hold out for the billet version. Then I changed my mind and it was too late… sold out. 
Also completely missed the 13.7" Jakl w/F5 Stock or else I would have got that for sure.

If you want a supressable 556 rifle, probably better off building a BRN-416.
If you want a lightweight .300 pistol for the house, better off ordering a Rattler or an AR15 with a 7-10.5" barrel and smart, semi-expensive but proven parts.
If you want the first generation of the ACR we have at home, but its better and costs less… Yeah, I really want to buy a 16" 5.56 JAKL, a .300 JAKL pistol, and a .308 JAKL with a 16" barrel (When they arrive prays)
I’d be way more likely to buy a Jakl if they offered it in .300 blk with a 14.5” p&w (or leave it barr and I’ll pin it myself) and the F5 brace. Haven’t seen any .300 blk rifle variants yet though, only pistols. I guess I need to SBR one!
They wont sell a complete rifle with a less than 16" barrel and no pin/weld. That would be an SBR by ATF definition.
@bracketracer I haven’t really looked at the Jakl uppers in detail. Are they offered as a standalone unpinned upper when under 16"?
If memory serves me correctly, they did, although it may have been a sabre upper I am thinking of. They offered it because they were using KeyMo suppressor mounts but not everyone has KeyMo equipped cans.
They sell a pistol upper kit with everything needed for you to use on an AR lower.
