With the constant changing of laws and what’s legal/not legal many gun companies made a pretty strict policy. Perhaps this is what PSA did.
But I can buy a ar upper parts kit but not a bare slide ?
I didn’t make the law. Your state’s safe act is all kinds of screwy and PSA has to CYA due to politics.

Not overnight, but these gun grabbing liberals change stuff all the time. Look at the list of restrictions on various states…those could change every single year depending on who is in control of state legislation. Because of that it is easier to do a blanket ban, because PSA would get in major trouble if they did the wrong thing.

Perhaps if you owned a business and were under the constant threat of lawsuits, you would make similar restrictions your business policy. It is not ideal, but it is your state that is the problem here. I grew up in NY and while it is a fine state, the elected officials are not very 2A friendly. Perhaps you could move…or vote better. If I owned a gun manufacturing company, I can tell you that I would not do business in these states at all.
OP can’t change the laws, and neither can PSA.
