PSA not shipping AR-15 uppers or parts to NY anymore?

I am trying to build a NYS compliant AR-15. So I ordered a AR-15 upper / parts from PSA. Then customer service sent email saying it is non-compliance.

WHY?

There is no mention of AR-15 uppers / parts cannot be shipped to NYS.

These restrictions apply to the entire state of New York.

  1. No sales of Automatic Knives
  2. No Drop Ship Ammo
  3. No PSA Daggers or Rocks will be shipped
  4. Ammo Shipments must be sent to an FFL
  5. No Stripped or Complete Receivers will be shipped
  6. Non-compliant AR and AK pistols will not be shipped
  7. Non-compliant AR and AK rifles will not be shipped
  8. Non-compliant Handguns / Pistols will not be shipped
  9. Non-compliant Shotguns will not be shipped
  10. Melting Point Restrictions are in place
  11. No magazines with a capacity of 10+
  12. No sales of Franklin Armory Binary Triggers

NYC, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens & Staten Island

  1. No Sales of Ammo or Projectiles

My buddy in upstate New York was complaining about this a couple weeks ago. He was pretty upset.

Started buying Aero Precision instead.

you said you ordered upper/parts… all i can think of off the top of my head without your clarification as to what you ordered exactly is that the upper receiver is stripped, and a reciever. thus they wont sell it. as it says no stripped or complete recievers.

Tried to buy a complete lower from PSA - LGS said no go from PSA in NJ. They will sell a whole AR in NJ though. I bought a complete lower from AR-15 discounts - so it seems a PSA choice not to sell complete lowers to NJ.

Remember - NY = it’s a *** ruined state. I can’t blame PSA for avoiding it like the plague it is on the country.

I was planning to make it featureless by using spur grip and grind down the thread on the barrel before getting a stripped receiver from a local store.

Guess i can’t even do that now.

Yep, you cant make those changes yourself and PSA cant ship it because they cannot guarantee that you will make the changes.

Just when you think you have it bad (like here in Maryland), remember there are those poor souls who have it worse (like those in New York). Look on the bright side: you have the Yankees while we have the Orioles.

NJ and the other *** ruined states too. Trouble is - like my Florida neighbors say, too many bring their Northeast *** ignorance with them.
Took a while but the South is WINNING while the North is dying.

There’s hats out there to “Keep Oconee county (SC) conservative”. Talked to a realtor today about selling my piece of dirt up here in the upstate.

I just order this and had no problem. Also I am on my 9th build from PSA and they never have had an issue shipping to me…
