NODAK SPUD sights for Ruger American Ranch

Does anyone know if or when NODAK Spud sights for the ruger American Ranch rifle will be available for the rifles chambered in 7.62x39 and 300 BLK?

@Waffenbauer any idea?

Im not sure they will be offering those as Mike is focusing on retros.

Not heard anything about sights for Ruger rifles and there is no more Nodak Spud, only H&R. Right now Mike is concentrating on bringing retro AR products to market and even that is delayed until he gets back from Shot Show.

Mike’s replies over on ARFCOM in December and as recently as Jan 6th suggest they will be still made. I am very much looking forward to putting these on my 5.56 Ranch Rifle, as they were one of the aftermarket upgrades that helped to convince me to buy a RAR in the first place.

Has there been any movement on these? Mike’s comment on ARFCOM sounded like there may be some available.

Just piling on here. I am another Ruger American Ranch 5.56 fanatic and I have been desperately searching for the NDS-55 and NDS-56 sights since they came out. Please please PLEASE make them again!!!

I new here, Was looking between the RAR and the Mossberg back in Jan 21. Found the Nodak Spud sights that were just released a few weeks earlier in Dec, that made my mind up for me as I have other Ruger’s. My build here is kind of a mini Scout rifle.

What caliber is that? Also, why the AR scope mount instead of rings?

RAR is 5.56 and AR mount I had laying around it works with this rifle I can drop the cheek rest and use the Nodak sights which was my main idea for this rifle.

It seems like every time I read a thread about a new product coming from PSA, by the time 10 people have responded, someone is already asking them to make it in another caliber, in another configuration, or to make something entirely different.

So, now I’m going to do almost the exact same thing - although in this case, the product itself already exists. I would LOVE to see PSA continue with all of the great products Nodak Spud already makes. I have replaced the standard Ruger 10/22 sights on all of mine with the Nodak Spud versions, and it’s head and shoulders better.

I have considered buying a Ruger American Ranch, and I had no idea this had been something Nodak already made…the ability to add Nodak-quality irons to a workhorse bolt gun would really be a big selling point. So - PSA, please add that to the long list of unreasonable requests everyone is already making. Please and thank you.
