I bought a optics ready PSA Rock with a threaded barrel awhile back. I’m having a custom leather pancake holster made and would prefer to have a non-threaded barrel for when I’m carrying the Rock. I contacted PSA customer support and was told they only offer items listed on the website. Is there any way to purchase a non-threaded barrel (other than buying a whole slide or pistol) from PSA or request that they add the part to their website?

I know @sean.psa has been talking with production about the availability of Rock parts. Hopefully he can give you an answer.

Heck man if you want an unthreaxex barrel ill trade you mine for your threaded barrel as long as there is nothing wrong with yoyr threaded barrel.
I too could have done without the threaded barrel. Got my Rock about a week and a half ago. Fits most of my Glock 17 pancake holsters except for that thread sticking out the bottom…and I don’t plan on being Sam Fisher any time soon. Will there be a barrel without slide option?
But Sam Fisher is like 5.7 batman and if you can be batman then you should always be batman…
In all seriousness though, the benefits of the added velocity are worth the extra length, if you can live with it.
Oh and I have no doubt that there will be, just a matter of time.

There is no thread protector with this - feature is updated.
