you have some of my favorite posts, i bet that is going to be hours and hours of fun
Thank you, I learned from watching you and the other guys here build.
That’s what makes this forum so much fun
@Coolwin1776
i think i tried just about everything and this is by far “exactly my absolute favorite” (works the best) 9mm pcc.. its the mixed match receivers. bca lower with psa upper is the real sauce.. and enhanced kak buffer of course.
very nice @MichaelAnthony. I have a favorite full size 9mm pcc rifle too. Mine is mostly all PSA, however. It was a surprise gift to me, to help boost my spirits when i was first diagnosed with cancer, and was just starting the fight. PSA went above and beyond and not only built me this amazing rifle but they also had it specially covered with the Carolina Gamecocks Logos, by the format of hydro-dipping. its quite awesome looking in my opinion. I’m sure you’ve seen photos of it here before. if not im more than happy to post up one.
I had said most of it is PSA and thats true, but some of it wasnt, as they were testing things out and seeing if they wanted to go into other products i guess, As they had put in it a red carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel 9mm barrel that was by BSF. BSF calls it their 416 Stainless Shrouded Carbon Fiber Barrell, which isnt inexpensive at all from what i could find, once they gave it to me, i felt that it needed more red on it, so i went cazy with the red parts from Strike Industries, and then that got us to where we are at now. Either way, like you, I love the rifle and it has a very special place in my collection and heart. I’ll never forget that day i was given it, and it’ll never leave my hands while i live. thats for sure.
heres the refresher photo for you :
yea it’s beautiful, you should put an enhanced kak buffer in it with a nice optic on top. perfect pdw
Never heard that story. What a legendary act of kindness. Thanks for sharing.
it is, and why i tried the 16” they sell its ![]()
thanks. i dont know if ill ever replace the PSA buffer in it. but the optic probably wont go anywhere as the flip ups and the optic are what psa gave me with the rifle, so thats what came on it, and thats whats in my mind should stay on it.
you’re welcome. they did much more. I thought alot of folks knew all they did for me when i was diagnosed. they besides gifting this rifle, helped with a fundraiser that was organized through Ar15.com by donating items, including a couple rifles if memory serves me correctly for the raffle, and then they also back when we were doing all the Meme lowers designed the F cancer lower and designated a percentage to be a donation to me to help with covering bills from the cancer and treatments and having to live in a hotel in charleston for a month while getting treatment etc. All this was donations by PSA from them for just a customer who really loved their products and their company.. so yeah, folks can talk alot of junk about PSA, but theyre a great group of people, and the leadership is top notch people. it also goes to show you since most folks who talk junk about PSA that they really dont know what type of a company PSA really is. I cannot say enough good about them or their ownership/leadership/management/people. they’re a great company and I’m forever thankful for them.
i think they would forgive you
they might, but i may not. its just how i am.
