Other cool ak variants incoming?

Love seeing the different variants being turned out, any plans in the pipe to release more?

What would you guys like to see?

An RPK in 7.62x39 with a 18’’ or 20’’ barrel.
A Roller Delayed 7.62x39 that takes AK mags.
Maybe an AK47 with an adjustable gas system.

Also, maybe some custom wood furniture like Tiger Striped or Flying Tigers Shark Teeth.
Maybe instead of having a normal Dong (lol) you can have a chopped down one that would act like an angled foregrip so that I can be put on pistol variants.

In 2021 we will be releasing an AK105, AK5.56, Krink, and Spiker. We will be working on a PSL, SVD and RPK for the long term future.

Maybe a little to specific but you guys have had so many awesome products and I have spent a pretty crazy amount in the last 3 months. That said I imagine the 105 will have easy sbr options like the 104 but are you guys planning a similar option for the krink that it can be easily sbr like the pistol 104 that has the hinge trunnion on it? I only ask because I can likely only buy 1 of the 2 and would like to sbr it. Thanks for the cool products and the awesome warranty.

Welcome @Jf05 Let me find out the answer to that and get back with you!

Do you have a estimated time line for ak556?

I’d really like to see a milled ak from PSA. Heck switch the AKE to a milled receiver since it’s supposed to be the most “premium”.

Welcome @dj.workman !! It will be out in 2021, I just do not have an exact date.

OMG Whatever you do, DO NOT let Tim know from MAC or else he’ll come in and buy every SVD rifle up, and put them directly on GB for 8x what they are really worth.

I would just like to see a point when PSA has more than 1 or 2 AKs available to choose from(currently 0). I dream of the day I’d actually get to choose exactly the style I want😄

I would love to see a OTs-14 groza either in 7.62, 5.45, or 9x39mm. I feel like all of us variant nerds would scoop one up ASAP.

Given the current political, social, and economic climates, I wouldn’t count on that happening with any regularity any time soon. That being said, PSA has put far more products out daily, especially in the AK category than anyone else. It would be nice to be able to take a few minutes and window shop between several models available to make a decision, but I think it’s gonna be a while before we reach that point as it stands right now. But hopefully one day we’ll get back to that point!

It’s only going to get worse if they ban imports from the countries that supply the majority of the cheap ammo and AK’s. Kudos to PSA for making some solid AK variants here they just can’t keep up with demand…nobody can.

Absolutely. And the only other U.S. company making good quality AKs is KUSA, but they’re production is abysmal considering they’ve only got like 3 models available and I only see the shotgun in stock with any consistency. Hopefully they can increase their production capabilities and PSA continues to expand theirs. I know their are a boat load of imports that are already in the U.S., but I’d say within the next couple years, U.S. made AKs will overtake them in numbers if they haven’t already. Because even though we are still getting imports at this time, it seems like we’re getting fewer and fewer every year. Right now though, PSA is definitely leading the charge in fueling the growing interest in the platform and the numerous models available when they’re in stock is definitely helping the cause!

Anyone else ready for PSA to start up their own PSA ammunition division? If not OBiden, then it could be another president later down the road, banning the import of steel cased outside the USA made ammo. I and many other hundreds of thousands of shooters here in the US absolutely LOVE and shoot steel cased ammo all day everyday. Please PSA start up that ammo investment, start off with good quality made steel cased ammo in the most popular calibers, and I promise it’ll always sell and be profitable and pay dividends!
