Hello! This is my first time posting here in the forum and I was hoping if there was someone available who could answer my question for me. So, I recently bought a PA-10 lower receiver unit (SKU: 5165490769) and I was looking to get an upper receiver for it. I already know that the PA-10 uses a proprietary DPMS low pattern, so I was trying to get one of PSA’s upper receivers. I saw that PSA has the upper and lower receiver units sold together online (SKU: 5165490769), but I don’t need both the upper and the lower there since I already have the lower. I’m after the upper receiver unit by itself (SKU: 5165490809) and I was wondering if there was any way I could order that.
It doesn’t look like there’s anything in stock right now. You could: sign up for notifications, check in the afternoons (especially right after 4:00 PM EST), get you a complete upper, or source elsewhere. I’m weird about stuff matching so I’d get the best value complete upper then customize what I’d like to later or just wait it out for more stripped uppers to get back in stock.
If you do go with another company, just be ready for the fit to not be good or even work. There is not an industry standard for ar10s like ar15s, and fit cannot be guaranteed…
Yeah, that’s kinda what I saw was nothing was in stock. I don’t know how frequently the website gets updated. However, I figured that if PSA is selling complete sets of upper receivers with lower receivers, there are upper receivers available to pair with lower receiver units.

We make all of our uppers here in SC and they are added to the website inventory throughout the day. If you have a specific product you like, that is out of stock, the best way to find it in stock is to sign up for the notifications.

PSA 20 inch uppers, 2016 and 2019 vintages. 2019 has the ‘lightweight’ rail with the milled Picatinny rail.
I’d love to see a 338 Federal - with a 24 inch Bull barrel. Since I already got the lower and the bolt for it.
But I gather people are preferring the shorter barrels.
Separate subject but - did anyone go through with the Winchester recall on their XPR trigger problems ? the XPR I had was with the 26 inch barrel and the crap trigger. Do they just send you a mailer that you can use at an FFL that does the shipping ? … assuming you still have a box suitable for shipping it.
