Prayer List 🙏 for anyone in need

Yes sir , I hope so :crossed_fingers:

I love dental sedation, i usually get it via the pill method, and i loose an entire day. i dont remember bunk for about 17-20 hours.. its wonderful. never done the IV sedation though.. had my wisdom cut out as well like you are. .it was just one.. went perfect till healing, which then i got dry socket and that hurt like a beach.
i wish you the best sir.

Met with the nephrologist today and my labs are continuing to decline and she is referring me to a kidney transplant specialist.
Good news is something I wasn’t aware of is a program (paired donation) where if you have a living donor (compatible or not) you have a 80% chance of getting a transplant in 90 days.
I’ll most likely be put on the waiting list when I see the transplant specialist and they determine if I meet all of there criteria, which I should.
Without a living donor the wait for a deceased donor transplant is 2-5 years and lots of dialysis.

***So now I just need to find a willing donor !!

Diagnosis - Oxalate nephropathy and Nephrotoxicity, Diabetic neuropathy 2, they ruled out cancer back in February.

im so thankful they ruled out cancer when they did back then. Now i pray that we find you a living donor. any siblings living? that may be interested?

:folded_hands: :folded_hands: :folded_hands:

Yes sir I have a older brother and a younger brother with a different father.
Younger brother is not a good candidate, I don’t think.
Older brother may be a possibility.
Both have offered.

With the kidney (paired donation) you don’t have to be a match which opens you up to a larger pool of living donors.

Not having cancer was a Huge win!
My liver transplant took 12 months to get.

Hopefully I can find a living kidney donor :folded_hands::folded_hands::folded_hands:
Any volunteers?

Thanks Steve for your continued prayers @GamecockOperator

That is amazing and awesome. I’d have them both checked to see if they are compatible. you never know.. sometimes the 1/2 siblings are just as compatible if not more so for some reason.

I didnt know that you didnt have to be a match. thats even better and nullifies what i was sayingg.. lol. its awesome that you dont have to be as it opens the donor pool up to a ton of other people and thats great. with me being on chemo so much, i cannot donate anymore, blood, organs, etc all nullified now. :frowning: oh well I do thank folks who do, as those blood donations have saved my butt a good few times now since ive been battling cancer. i’ve probably had to have 3 or 4 infusions of blood since i got sick.

jYessir! no Cancer is always a huge win! i am so thankfull you are on that list.
is 12 months for a liver transplant slow or fast? to me it seems quite fast for some reason and very lucky… i may be off on that i dont know, im just steering with my intuition here. I pray your kidney donation will be much faster even than that.

Your always welcome for the prayers bro. just keep the chin up and keep fightin!!

Thanks to all who offered up a prayer on my behalf.

Just a question is there a forum or space to post a crowdfunding link or is that even allowed?

There isnt a space here for that. Social media would be your best bet.

Hospital called earlier today and told me to be prepared to come spend the day with them for test and exams to make sure I’m healthy enough for a kidney transplant.
Probably going to be in a couple of weeks, guessing.

Last time I did all these test they admitted me to the hospital the same night and I wound up having a liver transplant

Hopefully my brother is going to become a living donor and either I’ll get one of his kidneys or they will find me a match from within the paired donor pool.

I really don’t know if I could physically handle having to do dialysis 10 to 20 hours every single week for years waiting for a deceased donor match but I want have a choice unless I get a living donor.

If you are not an organ donor I encourage you to look into doing so because it’s saved my life once and your organs could save or better another’s life.

I also ask for you guys to please keep me in your prayers.
The good Lord has blessed me beyond anything I could have ever imagined and I’m grateful for all of you as well.
:folded_hands:

im praying for you and that you wont have to be in for a long period of time.. i know i dread going in and thinking im gonna be in for a long time is part of the anxiety i have.
yeah i dont know about dialysis it sounds tough, but im sure if you wre in the situation you could overcome it and get through it. its not easy im sure but we’ve got your back. and you can take our energy to fight it

If i didnt have cancer id be a donor.. but all mine are ruined now with the chemos…

you definately got the prayers buddy.

Thanks Steve @GamecockOperator
I always appreciate your kind words of encouragement and I hope you are doing well.

Prayers continue.

Absolutely!!

you’re very welcome. I’m doing pretty well lately thanks for asking. .. just been hating the oxygen need lately is all.

Is there a forum section where one could post crowd funding links or is that poo-poo’s

Not until July (unless someone else cancels) but I’d appreciate y’all keeping me in your prayers please :folded_hands:
.

Most certainly you’ll remain in prayers. That’s looks like a 2 day trip minimum to me. You gonna be up for the return trip after a day like that?

Thank you for your continued prayers @Rufus
Yes sir we will go up the evening prior so it want be any harder than it already will be.
Plans are to stay the night after a full day of being poked and prodded all day.

Last time I did all these test with my liver, we got back to the hotel around the corner and the doctor called and said she was admitting me to the hospital
