praying for him. my warranty has been out for a long while too.. so i can sympathize… as we all can im sure.

Nowhere near done
Just got another update from the nurse he has finished the thoracic part of the surgery and now he is doing the cervical part of the surgery which is up at the base of her head, nurse was not sure how long it will take to complete this part, nurse said she is still stable and doing good

Yeah, she just got out of surgery…from my awesome BIL
Just spoke to Dr everything went according to there plan, she has 13 screws and wires that help hold those screws in place and rods that run from her c4 all the way down and tie into her t5 she won’t have much ability to turn her head left to right and up and down just a little bit, she is getting some high resolution CT scans now and then they will take her back to her icu room and then call me so I can come up once they get her all hooked up and everything
16 hour surgery
There were issues with the robotics, it didn’t want to place the titanium screws in her vertebrae where the surgeon dictated that they go
The surgeon was in Pennsylvania two days ago doing a dry run of her surgery and anticipated these problems due to her bone degeneration
It’s all f’d
So thankful that she made it through the surgery without many issues. Will continue to raise her up in prayer.
Made my appointment today for dental surgery next Monday to remove my last wisdom tooth,
the others came out easy.
Will be my first time getting put under sedation
