Even though I’ve brought mine into compliance, braces removed and guns permanently altered. For the price of a box of ammo I joined last night, not only to be enjoined as a plaintiff, but because these guys are on the front lines for 2A. WHAT SAY YOU? Crickets or Land of The Brave?
Been a member of the GOA and FPC for years now, along with my State’s local Citizen Defense League. All told, for under $100 bucks per year, WE could all be members of these organizations and really put our money where our fingers/keyboards and voices are.
I updated my topic post because aI know they watching and taking notes. I’ve removed my braces and replaced them with plain pistol tubes which I hope meets the “permanently altered” requirement. I also joined GOA last February, and thought after watching the NRA convention I might rejoin the NRA as well. But could not bring myself to rejoin NRA for so many reasons material and political. When they were at the hight of there money investigation problems, they canceled my lifetime membership and requested a new $$ membership.
Hopfully this topic will separate the crickets from brave constitutional 2A supporters.
i joined GOA and have been considering FPC as well. so far i havent jumped on FPC though.
Last night I paid $30 for the basic one-time annual membership. But I believe I heard today they will be honoring anyone who made or makes a $20 donations as well.
You know whats suprising is that some people who vehemently defend a particular cause, will not donate a dime to it.
NRA is no longer a friend to the 2nd Amendment and its supporters.
Amen.
Financial functional equivalent of BLM.
Nope. Haven’t sent them a dime in years ![]()
I’ve donated several hundred to GOA & FPC over the last year. Just put in for official membership donation to both last week.
State specific Citizens Defense League member as well.
NRA will never get another dime from me.
Already a member of GOA, sent money to FPC since they are making progress. Member of NRA only because our scout troop needed certified RSO’s to use the range on BSA properties.
GOA was granted an injunction today. Covers members who sign up by midnight.
Wow! Amazing news, you should post a link…
I was watching to a YouTuber channel called (Iraq-veteran-8888) or something like that. Anyway he said somthing that caught my attention about the loose braces we may have in our parts bin now as a result. He said in the stronest of terms " if you’ve removed them, do not have them anywhere. In the case of a warrant and crazy DA, not having them anywhere means no there-there, no legal fees, no (Matt) example set, no constructive case."
It struck me because as a fellow veteran this is how Military Law operated, especially aboard ship. You had 1 chance to get things squard-away before a search. I know, later as an officer, I had to do those investigations. Anyway until the brace case is truly won, I think its wise advice.
Buy a shovel ![]()
You realize of couse that the removable buffer tube is made of metal and without it you may have a hard time relocating it with your Dowsing Rod.
Yep
Member of both
Edit—Also a member of the Second Amendment Foundation and Rocky Mountain Gun Owners (RMGO)
GOA published it across social media yesterday.
Ditto here too
