PSA 5.56 pistol lower and 300 Blackout upper

Hello,
I’m about to purchase the PSA AR-15 pistol in 5.56 10.5". I’m wondering , is it true that I can swap a 300 Blackout upper to the 5.56 lower. That way I can shoot both rounds. I reload a ton of 556/223 but would love the option of occasionally reloading 300.
Thanks

Yes you can.
@kryingame

You can swap uppers and have a bunch of calibers…300blk, 6.5g, 6.8spc, 7.62x39, etc.

With 5.56 and 300blk, a word of caution. Color code or mark you stuff. Uppers and mags and if you reload even your boxes for ammo. 300blk WILL chamber in a 5.56 barrel, and that = a bad day.

What can are you using?

Omega 300

Super quiet.

Just got a 300 blackout upper (7.5) from PSA and have a FEW AR15 FROM PSA HAVE SEEN ON LINE THAT "YOU CAN NOT PUT A 300 BLACKOUT UPPER ON A FULL SIZE AR15 LOW WITHOUT TAX STAMP? not sure if it is state to stae or everywhere? Today is spet 17,2024…

You cant put an upper shorter than 16" on a lower that has a stock without an SBR tax stamp. If it is a braced lower you are gtg.
