PSA AR-V Barrel Change

Hello All,

I’m looking to change my AR-V barrel from 10.5 to 16 inches. My question is will all of the AR-9 style barrels on the market fit and function with the AR-V upper? (I purchased a fully but AR-V from PSA.)

Specifically, the below Faxon Firearms 16" light tapered barrel. I sent them an inquiry and they could not give me a straight answer. TheIr reply stated they hadn’t tested it with scorpion style mags so they couldn’t guarantee it would work. Does the mag style even matter when it comes to a barrel swap? Thank you for any information you can give me.

Any 9mm ar style barrel should work. My barrel is not a PSA and works fine.

Edit: also, i believe the feed ramp(s) is cut into the upper, so assuming extensions match, you should be good
