PSA Custom 3.5lb Match Grade Flat

Is this drop in trigger user serviceable?

I.E. I’d like to disassemble and drop in Wolff enhanced hammer springs for hard primers.

I’d like to know as well.

Id like to know if it’ll be back in stock while on sale. I missed it this time around

Can anyone say definitively whether it is or not?

I do not have this trigger, but I can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to find the correct flat punch, knock out the hammer pin, take the spring off and replace with a wolf or JP or whatever you like hammer spring, replace the hammer pin and drop back into your lower.

I have one of those here somewhere, let me go dig it out and have a look.

Yes, it has hollow screws instead of pins. The anti-walk pins go through them.
Here’s some pics:

I did take a thin flat blade screwdriver and the hollow screws back out, they don’t appear to be peened on the end or anything.

Awesome!

Thanks for the info and pictures. I really want to use these in my upcoming builds.

Regardless, I’ll test my current lowers with that trigger on my 7.62x39 uppers to see if it’s even necessary…

I bought two of the PSA Custom triggers. One is awesome. Has zero take up and a clean break at around 3 lbs. The other had about 3/16” of take up and broke at only 2 lbs. I sent that one back and exchanged it. The replacement has just a tiny bit of take up and breaks right around 3 lbs also. I say around 3 lbs because both of them vary about 8 oz in pull weight. I bought several CMC drop ins since which look similar in construction, have zero take up, and are more consistent in pull weight, only about 4 oz variance. Little more expensive trigger but I like that they have a larger “shelf” or lip at the bottom to locate my finger. Either one is a good upgrade from mil-spec!

Wanting the PSA trigger but its been out of stock (on sale). Thats my luck!

I have three of the curved bow triggers and I love them, but they gave me light strikes in my KS-47s. I blame the harder primers and looked at replacing them with some Wolff springs. It came apart easily enough, the problem was that the hammer spring is not shaped the same as a Mil Spec hammer spring. I can’t say this will be an issue with the flat bow trigger, since the hammers are differently shaped, but it is something to be aware of.
