PSA Custom vs base?

Hey from the north, Carolina!!!

A Marine I served with and I were lucky enough to lurk in the PSA store, and keep each other alerted when the AK-Vs came up, we managed a couple without too much trouble. Anyway, in our haste, we got what was quickly available, you know how that is, he got one model, I got another, and I am wondering what the real differences are.

PSA AK-V 9MM MOE TRIANGLE FOLDING PISTOL, GRAY

PSA CUSTOM AK-V 9MM MOE SBA-3 PISTOL W/ CHEESE GRATER HANDGUARD - USC

Aside from the obvious finish and furniture differences, all I can see in the description is the gray has “Fire Control Group: Single Stage, Single Hook”, the other “ALG AKT-EL Enhanced Fire Control Group”.

I like mine - I can always change color of furniture to suit my tastes if I find I can’t live with the gray. Neither one of us like the other - I don’t know what that white “graphic(?)” is on the sides - must be a retro visual? And did the PSA Custom get the upgraded fire control group, the one that everyone without seems to be buying for $60, then commenting about the bump fire excesses?

Just curious questions, not casting aspersions upon anything/anyone, I know I come across that way ALOT.

There have been reports of the ALG trigger bump firing in an AK-V. I am not sure if it had to so with the PSA design or the ALG design. Since ALG is owned by Geissele I would guess Bill and his engineers are looking at it.

Edit: forgot to mention the cheese grater handguard is a part of the PSA custom line.
