This is a quote from Jamin on another forum in regards to the AK74.

“We moved the bolt/carrier/trunnion production to toolcraft for the AK74 and AK105. The guns have been through a long series of internal torture tests for the last few months. The parts have been signed off on and have gone into production. There are still a few more steps in the production process, but if everything goes well it is 2-3 weeks.”

As far as the AK556 I am waiting on an answer from engineering.

Here is the update I have been told. It was put out on another thread, But I wanted to make sure it was known for people following this one as well.
