I am looking to purchase a cheek riser for it and it’s asking if it’s Romanian and is it push or lever for the folding. Can I get specifics on it so I can order as accurate as possible? Thank you in advance
I have never seen a cheek riser for the stock your describing.
Most people……if they find it necessary……fashion a “home made” cheek pad or riser if you will……out of foam pipe insulation….tape, or anything you can imagine go get the job done. But….if you are wanting to buy a cheek riser for a folding wire stock……I’ve never seen one…. Never know…somebody might be selling one.
If your getting into AK….now is a perfect opportunity to begin your personal customizing skills. With an AK…your going to have to learn how to “Fit” your parts onto your AK. Unlike an AR-15…parts for an AK are NOT precisely made to fit all AKs……meaning if the part fits your gun….your lucky…often you will have to use a small file and /or some sand paper to get a perfect fit. You will learn a lot about your AK . Embrace its uniqueness for all it’s oddities…it’s a great rifle.

Exactly what I was saying…… That might be something you can buy……but it looks like it was “garage-gunsmith” made.
As long as it works…and you like it…anything goes. But a simple piece of round foam would probably be easier….and a lot more reliable. Shoot that a few times….and your going to have a mark on your face where your cheek is resting on it……but HEY……this is all supposed to be fun anyway….so mod it anyway you like.

That’s a made to order piece sold by Amd65tech.com and they are great and affordable. Guy making them has been in business making variants of it for over a decade and is well known and regarded in every real and longstanding forum.

Debating about a para-cord or leather wrap on parts of an under-folder. Not a lot of real estate to work with.
