Had some guy yesterday evening think he was gonna try and break in my truck at walmart…luckily i was carrying my edc bag i showed everyone. Glad i had it otherwise he would have got my tools or worse my truck!
Rolled up on him unzipped the bag, yelled commands while grabbing my dagger, as not to pull it out completely and brandish it, but he knew what it was…took off runnin through the parking lot like his backside was on fire lol

glad you interruppted him in the act, sad you didnt get him on the ground and have the cops get him, but what can you do when someone jack rabbits and youre not a cop. it is good you had your edc bag for sure.

walmart has become a dangerous place to park and go to lately… even down here, there tend to be crack heads and stuff all around.

There’s like a homeless village in the woods behind the WalMart up here on Woodruff Rd.

same issue here in my little area of south lexington at a place called Red bank. the homeless however are crack addicts… so its not good… i dont take my 68 there when im out driving around.

That sounds like a solid setup. A pack that can handle an admin loadout and an EDC configuration is super practical. I’ve gone through a few EDC bags, and durability is always my top concern, especially when carrying heavier gear like a laptop and plates.

For wallets, I’ve been using crazy horse leather ones because they age well and stay sturdy even with daily use. Leather tends to hold up better over time than synthetic materials, plus it develops a lovely patina that gives it character. It is something to consider if you’re looking for long-lasting gear.
