Anybody ever try out one of these sling bags for concealed carry? I usually carry a Sig P365 IWB on the hip but wanted to the option to carry my new dagger with red dot and light however it felt too bulky and heavy on the hip for me. Came across these “sling bags” on amazon and picked this one out for 30 bucks. I think it’s a game changer. Seem inconspicuous enough that normies won’t know that you’re carrying and you can wear it with almost anything. However my wife thinks its obvious that its for carrying lol. Only down side is your draw time might be reduced by a half second. You can still draw pretty quick. It has a tab you can pull that quickly un zips the main pocket. Main pocket is lined with velcro is perfect size for a glock or even maybe a 1911. It comes with a cheesy velcro holster but I just put velcro tape on a kydex holster and it holds secure. Just wanted to share and get everyones thoughts on something like this?
It screams “i have a gun” to me, but then again i carry a gun and notice things. I carry my dagger AIWB with an untucked shirt (usually with patterns on it to break up potential printing).
My wife said the same thing. I guess these carry bags are popular in urban areas so a lot of people know about them. There is a concern someone would try to grab this off me. Then it would be jiu-jitsu or stabby stab time but I’d rather avoid that. So I probably wouldnt carry this in a heavily populated area like the city. I think I’ll still use it for hiking and walking the dogs in the park though.

I live in PA which is kind of a weird state. Guns aren’t nearly as regulated as states to the east, CCW is easy to get (except trash Philly), and open carry is legal. But you rarely ever see anyone open carry. There seems to be a stigma against it and it still freaks out the normies to see anyone who isn’t a cop carry a gun. It doesn’t make sense but that’s the dynamic.
Wear Jeans and Polo (tucked in) and most folks will think you are a detective or something. People don’t need a badge to assume. They are used to seeing it and their brains instantly make the decision.
This thread is funny in a way because just last week I saw gentleman with a bag resembling that at a harbor freight. I immediately knew he had a handgun inside. On top of that he had an American flag and tactical patches on the bag as well.
I immediately thought he was a sitting duck. I would rather open carry than what he was doing. I could easily control him and the bag. Not to mention he had a strap around his neck that would be one more way I could control him and cause damage. He would not be able to grab his firearm.
Personally it looks comfortable. I think I would like it myself. But seeing it from the other side, my first thought is it looks dangerous. So I have to go with my first thought. Others are probably oblivious but I knew what was up the second I layed eyes on him.
I’m fat, so concealing a full-size requires only a holster. 
I would’ve liked to know about these when I was in the wheelchair.
I normally carry a Sig P365 in an alien gear holster on the 4/5 o’clock position. Its the perfect set up for me, any bigger and it goes down hill comfort and conceal wise. I dunno how people appendix carry. I’ve tried it and its insanely uncomfortable to me especially trying to sit down with it on.

I’d caution anyone against bum rushing someone with a firearm. In my state, that’s a sure fire way to win the Darwin awards.
In my day, we called these “tactical bags” “fanny packs”. If it makes you happy, more power to you!

But it happens and you must he prepared/aware. The Darwin participants will and have disarmed cops. They aren’t worried about Joe Blows tactical bag while he waits at McDonald’s or gases up his car. Darwin people won’t discriminate or think things out like you or me.
I had an old friend who told me twenty years ago to start prepping, and me in my shortsighted youthful wisdom at the time dismissed his concerns as silly and fanciful. So here I am, playing catch-up, and he’s sitting somewhere on top of his stores, having been right the whole time.
