So the 1:10 twist on the KS47 is a bit of an odd duck for a 7.62x39 round. I’ve found a couple brands of subsonic ammo (Atomic, Detroit) that evidently need a 1:9.5 or faster twist.
Does anyone one here shoot factory subs that are proven to stabilize out of either a 10.5" or 16" KS47? I’m not looking to compete, plink, or hunt with it…would be in my home defense mag, provided it can cycle my weapon.
Brown bear was there but it was banned

Yeah…seems like their load would be simple for another manufacturer to replicate.
I know I don’t necessarily want to spend $600 on some!
Hello … i bought some of the very same ammo you mentioned and i had trouble with it cycling too … none of it seems to like my KS47 … 16 inch … i had to play around with several different 5.56 buffer springs before i found one that my KS47 liked on a subsonic ammo setup … but i did manage to scoop up quite a bit of brown bear before Jo blow hijacked us all … the brown bear runs wonderfully but it’s all FMJ ammo … i popped an armadillo at 50 yard’s with it and it split him like a watermelon … but i prefer HP or SP …
