Registration of a new PSA Firearm

I cant seem to find where on the PSA website you register ownership of a PSA firearm. . . .

for example you can register your Glock & the warranty information is then valid. . . .

what am i missing here?

There isn’t a place on their website for that. @Josiah_PSA , or @sean.psa can for sure tell you, but my understanding is if it was made by PSA it has a manufacturer warranty for life in its original configuration.

@GuitarGuy is right. You don’t have to register ownership of our firearms with us. We have a lifetime warranty that stays with the firearm/part, not the original owner. This means that people who buy the product someone else are also covered. If you ever have an issue with your psa product, reach out to our Customer Service Department to get it brought in to be repaired.

Man, hard to beat a warranty like that! How about if mine were tragically lost in a canoe accident?

I suppose the fish that catches it will have a nice warranty!

I dont know if they’ll like it. Large Mouth Bass just sounds like a liberal to me.

Just picked up a NIB PS15 (SKU 5165451057) locally from original buyer. The PSA warranty is what sealed the deal compared to buying one of the other AR rifles I was looking at purchasing new from a couple of other manufacturers.

Many thanks. I’m new to the platform so this is a starter for me, but I’m very happy with it so far.

I’m curious, how do I tell the model of my psa and is there a way to determine whether or not my psa was built by a third party with a kit or by manufacturer? My lower simply says “multi- .223/5.56” no indication of model like “Sabre” or “jakl”

Both the sabres and jakls are new and have additonal engraving on the right side mag well. Sounds like you have a standard ar15. Post some pics and that might help us. Also check the barrel for engraving and the serial # prefix.

I don’t see any engravings on the barrel or right side of mag well, just trying to figure out if there’s anyway to tell whether my rifle was manufactured by PSA or purchased as a kit and built out by a private third party.

@GamecockOperator is the keeper of the lowers and maybe can give you guidance on the SCD prefix.

Also give us a pic of the full firearm . That looks like a PSA rail.

I dont think that is a psa rail or muzzle device.

Looks like an odin works rail. That is aftermarket.

That’s the thing though, I’ve seen rifles in here that have that rail, just can’t verify the device. I’ve seen rifles on here that line up almost identical but not exact. Things like the engravings or lack thereof, the muzzle, and the furniture that I got with it wasn’t exact. I assume the previous owner just swapped some things, but I was under the impression it wasn’t a build, it was from the manufacturer. I’ve been wondering more and more which it is, build or straight from psa and a few things swapped by previous owner? I’m begging to think it’s impossible to really tell the difference.i forgot to mention I’ve changed the pistol grip and the stock, if it matters.besides that the lower and upper I was told was made by psa, not a build. Oh and curious enough, it has a BCG with the markings of a trident looking logo and “Weber tactical” which I haven’t been able to find anywhere, this ghost “Weber tactical” BCG.
