Remove the chamber block on SAR B6C

My sister just bought this and got home with it, but can’t get the chamber block out. I’m in another state and get get my hands on it. She says it seems stuck. Any suggestions.

you mean the red chamber flag? Lock the slide to the rear and pull it out. worse case stick a pencil or wooden dowel down the barrel.

Thanks for the response! She says that she can’t get the slide back, so she is going back to the FFL and get some help.

Tell her, put an empty mag in it, then push hard forward with strong hand on the grip (finger OUT of the trigger guard!) and weak hand gripping the slide, pulling back simultaneously. Almost like a “jerk” motion, but smoothly. She’s just not getting it far enough open to lock.

The slide should lock back on the empty mag, and the flag can be extracted then.

The above is the only way I could get The Wife to consistently work a slide and chamber a round.

The B6C is a great gun, The Wife absolutely loves hers.

Thank you all for your replies, she took it back to the ffl and he managed to get it out. He said it was wedged in and it took some effort to get. She’s good now and scheduled for classes. Thanks again and stay safe.
