Rock carbine?

There is a greater than 50% chance I would slap that long barrel in an optics ready slide and rock it with those huge magazines.

Seriously though, if they make this with an 8+ inch barrel I’m going to get SEVERAL. My LC charger will be up for sale so fast ruger will be wondering if anyone saw the truck.

Take my money they do that in an 8-12" barrel.

I didn’t notice the magazines at first. That’s significantly larger than our current 30 round extensions. Would that be long enough for 40 rounds?

That looks remarkably similar to the AK-V clamp ons that that take you to 50 and yes they work with zero hiccups. My feeling is they are very close with this one. 50 would be right there with the AR57 minus the bottom drop and made in America.

The vuk and ocan are nice additions.

8-9" barrel would be sufficient. Ample room for devices and a good grip too. I personally think mag compatibility should be the extent of most commonality between it and the rock. Throwing it in a chassis while retaining all of the other bits of the Rock just doesn’t seem worth it to me.

Personally, I don’t think it’s going to be a chassis system. I think these are more of a proof of concept.

But obviously I have zero insights so don’t take it with a grain of salt. Take it with a whole salt lamp.

True I wouldn’t expect the Concept to be the final product. I’m just spitballing at how the PMR-30 to CMR-30 was done, as well as the Ruger57 to Ruger LC/Charger.

Ugh, the Ruger LC products, it’s like they heard years of complaints about their scheisse trigger and went: hyuck hyuck, I’ll do it again!

They touch on the x57 here

PSA concept debut’d at shot this year.
