Last year I bought a Taurus TX-22 and found it to be a great shooter. It fits my hand perfectly and feels great. It has been super reliable and fires everything I feed it.
Last night I was checking my new Rock with Holosun and set it down next to the TX-22. Dam if it isnt the Rocks Mini Me gun. from the back , the top, the side and bottom they appear almost like a clone of each other.
For fun I started to compare triggers and darn if they are not very similar in wall and trip feel. I know why the Rock felt so good when I first shot it ,more or less I have been “practicing” for it all year now. Both are solid shooters , accurate and reliable so far for each
Actually pretty close! Good observation
Any of y’all have any experience with these CCI 22LR Upper Cut defense ammo. I wandered over to the ammo aisle after leaving the range at the Greenville store and found them. I picked up a couple hundred rounds for the TX-22. Gonna do some digging. They look really good with nickel plated cases. They weren’t cheap but not over the top either.
Thats their ammo for non-bolt action. They are made to help with semi auto feeding. I haven’t shot them but did some research.
First I’ve seen them.
I havent see them on shelves yet. Saw an article about them a while ago. Will see if I can find it.
TY. They had about a case or so in the Greenville store. I thought it was interesting the labelling stated “optimized for 2.5 to 4” barrels.
A little of pcc barrels are getting shorter.
They make it in 22 WMR too @ 40 cents a round 1050 fps
Its good to see a new variety. Variety is the spice of life.
