Sabre Magwell VS GG Magwell for Full Size Dagger

Not in a hurry to pickup a magwell since i cant use it in Production or Optics Carry USPSA divisions.
But none the less i eventually want to grab one.
Im just curious how the PSA Magwell stacks up to the GG magwell.
I see alot of ppl recommending GG.
Id rather give the money to PSA but prefer the better product.
Thoughts and opinions please.

Thanks

Have a Sabre and it’s fine by me. My guess would be they’re the same.

I have a few from GG before PSA came out with their own, no complaints it does the job.

I actually posted this in a FB group and somebody posted up pics of their magwells.

GG Magwell (compact)

PSA/Sabre (full size)

Based off these i plan to go with PSA

Yeah I don’t blame you, that one up top isn’t fitting too good.

not to mention the PSA funnel is has more room.
It is a compact and not fullsize GG magwell so not sure if the funnel itself is different between the 2 sizes. I wouldnt think so though

After getting home & looking at Daggers I was wrong I have two from GG & one 3D printed from EBay.
Fullsize is polymer before they came out with aluminum one.

And Compact is aluminum.

Thanks for sharing those pics.

So both magwells seem to be quality.

The next thing to look at that is important is extended mag compatibility.
multiple ppl have reported that the strike industries extensions does not work with PSA magwell.
Thats a pretty big strike since thats a popular/inexpensive option.

Wonder if somebody has made a list of what doest work with the psa magwell

That’s why I like the GG. I don’t mind modding things so I fit the interior of the magwell. Had a mag with a big screw at the back holding an extension on/zev style pins would have the same issue. They didn’t fit. I just ground the magwell out a bit at the back until it worked.

I have the polymer one from them for that reason. Easier to work on.
