Just wanted to get a couple of opinions here. I have a Swampfox Tomahawk 1-6x24 LPVO SFP scope. I also have Swampfox Hostile Engagement rings for mounting it. My dilemma is that I am not sure what rifle I want to mount it on? I have an IWI TAVOR 7 chambered in 7.62x51 and also an IWI Galil Ace rifle chambered in 5.56. I am not trying to get into really long distance shooting but I still want to get the best use out of the scope. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Would you be getting other magnified optics in the future? If so, what route would you go? It would make sense to me putting the higher magnification optic on the caliber with the further effective range. That’s a pretty good scope for either platform.

I would go Galil and get a stronger for the 7.62.

I currently have a Sig Romeo red dot on both. It is a good little red dot that didn’t cost a fortune.
