@GuitarGuy
On a serious note;
God bless all y’all that has ben effected. And now I’m concerned what is brewing in the Caribbean and predictions there of!

It’s still horrible here. Thousands still without power.
I was lucky to get a page to load.

I just got 5G back like one minute ago.

All of Fountain Inn didn’t have power. Seeing half mile lines for gas is disheartening to say the least. That was both Simpsonville and Fountain Inn.
We aren’t getting our land line internet back soon. Most of the dispatch group for the system trucks are getting laid off in October same as I was in August.

Can’t put contractors in because it takes a couple months to figure out how to understand all the software.
That’s all of Greenville / Spartanburg / Union / Gaffney / All of western NC from Burnsville area west. Florida panhandle, a big chunk of west GA. That’s just the ar

Not of that one…i keep pestering @Jammo though.:rofl::rofl:

15 yr old l could see why lol.
@GuitarGuy
Going through what y’all have I’d want 15 yr old Bourbon :thinking:

Ive been in the hunt for the Russells Reserve 15. Havent been successful. SC sadly doesnt get the allocation of other places.

We live just outside of Fountain Inn, we still don’t have power.
My church is half a mile away, and does have power. We worked remote from there today.

Our property had about 30 trees, we lost almost half of them Friday. Fortunately, the only thing they hit were the neighbors fences. I’m about sick of running a chainsaw, lol.

We’ll be fine.
Pray for the folks in NC, please.

:pray:

:pray:t4:
Just got internet and tv back.

Great!
I passed several Duke trucks on 418 on my way to donate platelets. Hopefully we’re up soon

If you need anything let me know. I’ll help best as I can.

Other area residents sounding off…

:face_with_symbols_over_mouth::+1:

Maybe it was done as a sign that “We are gonna get through this.”

Meh. Clemson took care of the town of Clemson and the town of Central. They opened multiple facilities for showers, AC, electricity, etc. Non issue.

You are painting with a pretty broad brush aren’t you??? Were you here? It was a fiasco and has created on-going problems for those of us that do live here. Stations completely out of gas, still hard too find ice and on and on.
And Clemson’s “let them eat cake” gesture was a joke. Sorry but your opinion on this matter holds NO water.

While it was going on we too had many friends and family and neighbors without power, including myself. The generator got a good workout. I had friends who went to the game and then stayed in Clemson just so they could have a hot meal and a shower. The midlands is slowly coming back on but it isnt 100%. I have friends still without electricity and my office only got things 100% back last night.

All im saying is it’s easy to blame instead of also looking at the positives. The biggest issue in this whole situation, from FL to WNC, is that the forcast showed one thing and it did something different. Many people were simply unprepared.

I just got a text from Laurens Electric and they’re only to 41% restored.
