Sezzle financing $$

danger will robinson danger.

My credit rating is lower than my age. But, thanks for the heads up!

:face_with_peeking_eye:

From what I read they only do a soft credit inquiry.

For me I like the aspect of using it as a layaway plan. It just makes it a little easier to talk myself into it.

Only 4 easy payments of $29.99

But wait there’s more, act now while operators are standing by with this limited time offer and you will own it with

Only 4 easy payments of $19.99 but you must call now.

Sorry y’all! Hahah I posted that the other day on FB but it just got approved

It’s not an option anymore. I tried buying something when Sezzle was listed on the product page. It didn’t show up as a payment option. Now it’s gone from everything I’ve looked at.

Sezzle is currently turned off :cowboy_hat_face:

Welcome to the forums @tiger46

Sezzle is currently turned off.

Please see above :cowboy_hat_face:

I saw that. I really hope they turn it back on. I’ve used Sezzle at SKD and SOE and it’s always been good to me. I’d rather buy ammo with it though.

My understanding is that it was received very well by us, the PSA customer’s so I’d like to think it will continue :cowboy_hat_face:
@tiger4611

I’m sad :disappointed: I was going to buy my first AR build today but they took it down

Its coming back, they are just checking to see some things before they fully launch it.

I need a vortex scope for my 308……….might have to see about sezzling that bacon when it comes back…….not sure if psa is a pusher or a dealer

Welcome to the forums @Ianrsavage13 :cowboy_hat_face:

I accidentally tripped and clicked sezzle on the new FN reflex….
Currently waiting for it to ship!

Welcome to the forums @OneoftheFew :cowboy_hat_face:

Sezzle pay in 4 is turned back on :grin:

Oh lord… I should NOT have seen this… anyone remember the character Chucky off of Sons of Anarchy? Had only a thumb and forefinger on each hand? … Well, that’s what my wife’s gonna do to me… and or divorce me!!! Between Affirm, Paypal and now Sezzle financing, I’m screwed… and NOT in a good way!!!

Vortex strike eagle 1-8………just sezzled

Some of ya’ll aren’t gonna like the truth about this. Sezzle is far from being free; it costs the merchant a bundle.

From the Sezzle website:

“The Parties agree that Sezzle’s standard payment processing fee is 6.1% plus 30¢ per transaction. The standard rate may vary by industry classification and could be higher due to our view of the associated risk profile of the industry.”. (Sezzle Legal)

Some of their fees are vague and variable and the merchant fee can change, per the Sezzle website. Notice the part in the quote about “risk profile of the industry. “. How hard would it be to target the gun industry with special penalties, like UPS apparently does?

Also interesting: ownership of the “payment plan” transfers from the merchant to Sezzle when a transaction is completed. Sezzle also controls the funds. Combine this with the Federal Reserve’s contemplated digital currency, and you effectively have total gun control without actually passing any anti-freedom legislation. Very slick and likely to fool a lot of people.

This stupidity has the fingerprints of Private Equity Firm all over it.
Sezzle charges the merchant several fees and that drives up PSA’s cost of operations, which you might already be seeing. Maybe some of you noticed the small jump in shipping charges, which is perhaps partly due to the freedom-hating folks at UPS but maybe also to fund the Sezzle expenses.

At the BBB, Sezzle is rated A+ although they are not accredited. They have hundreds of complaints in the last year. If you search for reviews of Sezzle, some websites have lots of negative words like “scam” or “fraud,” whereas others are mostly positive. I did notice that one site had lots of positive reviews but many were posted on the same date.

Sezzle costs you more than you realize. They get your personal info to help build a profile of you. Maybe a few of you noticed the bait they dangle about “free” credit reporting? Main thing Sezzle is after, like every other company run by idiots, is your personal information. The Algorithm demands it so it can formulate wrong conclusions about who you are and what punishments you deserve.

Best thing would be for nobody to use any of these seemingly “free” services, which can be cleverly-disguised traps. We don’t need more traps. Another way to look at it: use your cash while you still can.
