Sezzle financing $$

I grabbed the fn reflex, and an upper for a future build…

Wait until everything is just fed now and fed now only payments

I use sezzle on my website, it’s a popular choice. Sezzle gives two options to pay.
Pay in full or pay in 4. It’s basically another PayPal type thing.
I don’t notice the fees much when people use sezzle but what I have noticed is the people that can’t dump $300/$400 on a new custom knife at once now can. I get asked that often, can I make payments? I say I have sezzle and then 9 out of 10 times the product is sold. Sezzle may infer a fee on the merchant but it opens the merchant up to a larger customer base that was holding back.
But yeah sezzle does have its down sides. Like credit reporting. Each transaction is an open account. With sezzle it’s easy to get in over your head. Before you know it, you have 10 open accounts and now your “debt to income” ratio is jacked way up with your credit reporting.
It’s best to only do two sezzle transactions at a time. We found out the hard way.

I do see the positive side: the business pays a fee but still gets a sale, and a sale with less profit is better than no sale. Sizzle is probably best for small business. I used to sell on eBay and had PayPal just because people could use credit card to buy stuff from me. It made selling easier. I suppose Sezzle is another such tool that can, if properly understood in order to avoid the traps, help the business stay competitive or even grow…

My concern would not have existed 30 years ago. Today, however, we have all of this data about us being cast about carelessly. We have stupid people interpreting that data to establish “facts” about us, false facts that are then used to determine if we get a loan, or healthcare, or a job. False facts determine that Mr X is a gun-toting, conservative, Christian (gasp), anti-abortion, mass murderer in progress. He must be re-educated or destroyed. The facts don’t have to be real in order to be conclusive; the computer said so and computers don’t make mistakes.

This digital age with it’s trackable currency, combined with increasing surveillance and liberal paranoia and fear mongering, plus the communist threat and growing anti-freedom rhetoric that seems to be gaining traction, all conspire to make anything that helps track gun purchases more alarming.

Sezzle seems to ultimately be about surveilling you and stealing your personal information, and then selling that info to others who will misinterpret it. In other words, Sezzle is just like every other big business: managed by fools who serve their Digital Master (Satan?) Rise of the Machines draweth nigh.

Holy moly!!..……the vortex came today!! I’ve never had anything ship this quickly. Already mounted up on the .308. Might have to call out sick and take a day and get’r zeroed, although it’s darn near on point with the existing buis already. All pros and cons pointed out with sezzle I’ll take into consideration………however I was already lollygagging about getting an optic on this one…….and sezzle made it a no-brainer.

That was quick you must live relatively close.

I don’t need anything but I’ve had several items in my cart just waiting to Sezzle them

Let me know what you think of that scope when you get over your cold …cough cough

Could have been drop shipped.

Had it sent to the MD house. Yes, not close enough for the speed it came.I already have the 1-6 strike eagle on a middie 556, and really like it, but wanted just a tad bit more magnification for a 308. I’ll be hunting in my woods in VA, so any more than 8x would be overkill with the terrain, trees etc.

And I’m only willing to sezzle one thing at a time

Saturday I just went ahead and purchased in regular fashion. After what @davidlandonjr said (and I sorta figured) I decided I don’t need another pimp. Cell Phone = Pimp, ISP = Pimp, cable tv = Pimp, credit cards = Pimp, on and on and on. Oh get a VPN? VPN provider = Pimp. It’s rather dis-heartening.
Anyone have any Ramen to spare?

you’ll have to tell me how much you like the reflex, as i have a fn 503, that they discontinued/renamed to t he reflex, and for the life of me i dont know why

I had the 503. Kinda miss it. The reflex is a wider 503. I’m going to dads farm this weekend and imma send rounds there. Size wise it’s identical to the hellcat pro. So instead of single stack is double!

so the whole reason to discontinue the 503 is to get a doublestack in about the same size, just a little wider? interesting. I’d of thought keeping it and releasing the reflex would have catered to both worlds, but oh well. who knows what the folks at FN are thinking.
Why do you miss the 503 some?

I like the single stacks some times! The 503 fit the bill so well. I have the mossberg mc1sc as my only single stack now

to me, for that very reason of it being a single stack, should have insured its position in the line up. thus keeping the 503 and adding the reflex as another option.

Glad I didn’t him haw around on this one.

I was this :ok_hand: close to dropping the coin for one of those, until FN came along…

Okay, so someone explain Sezzle to a person who has never used it.

Let’s say there’s a rifle I want that’s $750, if I pay half of it up front, are the remaining payments cut down in size?

Pay in 4 payments as attached.

You set up a account that is tied to a card or bank for the initial 25% and then the additional 3 payments of 25% each are deducted automatically. They do not accept AMEX or Capital One.

Your order is paid in full to PSA as soon as you order it.

Miss a payment or don’t have funds available and they will jack your :poop: up with interest.

** At least this is how I understand it **

I ordered a PSA Dagger and 27rd GL9 magazine last night and used the Sezzle option at checkout. Everything seemed ok, it was the 2 payment plan, so i payed $228 last night (already came out of my bank account) and the other half is scheduled for Nov. 5th. I am however now worried, as I got the PSA order confirmation email like normal, BUT the dagger is not on the order number, and its just the GL9 mag thats been processd and now going to shipping. So where is the PSA Dagger I ordered? I have no other email for any confirmation about the firearm order placed, just for the magazine. Can anyone can help me out???

Ok! So, no issues, ive contacted PSA online customer service rep and since it was a mag (shipped to my house) and a firearm (ships to my local dealer) the mag processing was fast, but the firearm email just had not come in yet since its still being processed. So no issues with sezzle, its been confirmed and everything seems like it will be all good! LOVE me some PSA!!! the wait time for a service rep wasnt terrible, about 20-30mins on hold. No big deal!
