Hello, I am trying to figure out how long it should take to ship my Psa dagger that I ordered on 1/14/22. My order is still in processing and I cannot find out what’s going on with the order because the chat is not ever active. Anyone ordered a Psa dagger recently and maybe shed some light on my purchase. Thanks
Up to 15 business days for serialized items is what the website says iirc.
7 - 10 business days (two calendar weeks) for firearms.
One community member who ordered a “Complete Slide Assembly with Threaded Barrel, Carry Cut, Suppressor Height, Sniper Green” on Christmas received his shipping notification today.
I ordered an upper assembly that same day, and nothing….
Actually order both upper and lower. Got the lower 2 days after it shipped on Jan. 18 or 19th to my FFL.
But they (PSA) won’t answer emails in regards to trying to find out where the hell my upper is?
Just wish they would at least send an email reply and let me know there’s been an issue and it’ll ship when they finish it? Or something?
Hard to believe it was “IN STOCK” when I purchased it only to have it never did IDHS processing……
Well I ordered on 1/7/21 and I also still in processing. I’m hopeful they just got behind because of Shot Show but at this point I don’t know. I know it’s been longer than the 15 days stated on the website.
Same deal here. I ordered 1/7/21 and it still stuck on processing.
I’m just a little aggravated that no one answers emails. And the CHAT option is never active and they won’t answer calls!?
Assuming when Dagger items are “IN STOCK” they really mean “But it now and we’ll build it to order” or something?
Hopefully they show by my birthday, not supper hopeful……my birthday is in April
Ordered on 1/6 and still in processing as well.
We are working on getting all of the Daggers and parts shipped out ASAP. I apologize for the extended wait times. If anyone doesn’t have their Dagger/parts by Friday of next week, please PM me your order number and I will get you taken care of.
Dang I ordered mine on 1/24/22 I hope I’m not waiting till spring for mine
they said it was in stock when I purchased it. This is the only order I’ve ever waited this long for from PSA . usually 4-5 days and it’s here.
Thanks!
Just the simplest update is an update and helps.

I ordered mine on 1/5/22, and it took 20 business days to get shipping notice (2/3/22). The notice email said it had shipped, but clicking the link still shows as of 2/4/22 that “Shipment ready for UPS.”
This has been a bit of a bummer…I was hoping for better communication from PSA. I tried calling, but they don’t take calls about shipment status. (I imagine they get huge volume, and I can understand that). There’s a “Chat” button that shows on the Customer support page, but disappears every time I’ve tried to click it.
So I’d written in to double-check that they had my FFL’s info (hoping for an update on the shipment) and that’s the only response I got, just confirming they had the FFL info.
Maybe I’m just impatient, but I think better communication would help a lot. PSA also sends mixed signals about expectations for shipping timelines. On the Help Center Terms and Conditions section, it says:
Please note that upper receivers may take up to 15 business days to ship out. Serialized items (rifles, pistols, lower receivers, etc.) may take up to 7-10 business day to ship out. Please verify that PSA has a copy of the FFL from your dealer.
So there it says 10 days for firearms, and elsewhere (maybe in my purchase confirmation order?) it says allow 15 business days for shipment.
After 15 business days, I wrote 4 more emails on the Help Center form - basically one daily, trying to get an update on my order’s status, and I never got anything other than the confirmation that they’d received my email. The next email I got from PSA was the one confirming shipping (which still hasn’t actually shipped).
I have dealt with PSA in the past, I love their mission, I think they have a great vision for their product lines, and getting a great selection in front of the public. However, I have to say this has been a pretty dissatisfying transaction so far.
I understand they’re dealing with a lot of challenges. I’ve been excited about the Dagger since the initial reports coming out of SHOT 2020. When I finally saw the version I wanted in stock, I pounced, because I knew it was only going to show up if it was built and in stock. To then wait almost a month, with no updates from PSA - that’s not what I hope for from them.
PSA’s facing huge demand from the public for their products - that’s a great problem to have, but still a problem for them. I get that part. As a customer, when I’m waiting past the “normal period” I should expect to wait for a shipment, I feel like I’d like that escalated in some way. The unreasonable part of me wants flashing red lights to go off in the PSA shipping department, and everyone to stop what they’re doing, find my item and rush it to the airport, in a briefcase handcuffed to the courier’s wrist, and flown to me.
Back in reality, I feel like it would be a solid move for PSA to take that, once a firearm hasn’t shipped by the date that’s considered normal, that the situation gets flagged to someone in customer service, and an email is sent. It can be a form email, but perhaps topped off with some detail from a human. “We’re in the midst of an order surge - we have a backlog of X number of firearms - we estimate it will be two more days for your firearm to ship.” - something like that, just to get an idea the order didn’t fall off the face of the Earth.
All that said, I’m really looking forward to receiving it - just a bit more communication would take away some of the sting.
I’m glad to know that it’s just an overall issue and not some specific error with my order. Thanks for the update and I will sit tight!
One thing you have to realize is the availability of UPS trucks to pick up the orders…and I don’t mean the ones that deliver to your house. PSA fills multiple tractor trailers daily…if UPS brings them. The midlands of SC has been hammered by covid lately and UPS is advertising like crazy for workers. Their hub at the airport can’t hire enough right now.
Everything you say is totally reasonable. I can see that they have extended their expected wait times from 10 business days to 15. Unexpected problems come up that aren’t their fault and that they can’t control.
I just think that one thing they can control is the expectations they set on their website, and then how they communicate when something comes up and they can’t meet those expectations.
Your post on point. I had exactly same thoughts. Same boat as you. Good luck on getting your dagger.
Just got an email from their Norton shopping guarantee, that it expires in 2 days.
Well, suppose I won’t need it? But without the upper, the lower I have already is pretty much useless.
Been trying to reach out here again this Friday.
So, mine finally arrived yesterday.
It had a ship date listed as 2/3/22, shipped via UPS 2nd Day…and arrived 2/8/22. So by my math, that should have arrived by 2/4/22.
It shipped in a soft-sided range case, with velcro straps to hold the pistol in place, 2 Velcro-topped mag slots with one mag, and another slot pocket holding a gun lock. Fits my hand great (medium/short fingers). Trigger - on dry firing it, I would say the trigger feels mushy - the pull is OK, but it does not have a crisp, distinct reset. I’ll have a better feeling for it after I get to the range with it.
One other weird thing - the “Firearm ID Locator” sticker says “Palmetto State Armory Dagger Compact 9mm - 2 Mags W/Bag” – but the listings are always for one mag. It came with the one mag (which is what I expected).
I like it - but was not well pleased by the shipping process - the length of it, and lack of communication.
I’m pleased by the product that arrived, and looking forward to trying it out.
I’ve never heard of a Dagger shipping with more than one magazine. Do you have a screenshot of the “Firearm ID Locator” sticker?
