Shot Show 2025 Concept Gun Poll

Just a heads up, the poll is not loading on desktops. Tried on more than one and it just won’t load. Pulled it up on my cellphone though and that did the trick.

x9 with glock mags would be a better way to go, and I prefer the other design the 5.7 has. The current configuration looks like an old style uzi, which i’m not a fan of.

Focus on what will actually sell. I think the X9 and the 9mm banshee are no brainers. After that, a Thumper would only be cool if 1) it came with a few rounds of ammo and 2) if AAC was committed to making an affordable round for it.

I really think the lancet should be voted in. It needs to have an accuracy standard of no less accurate than 2.5 moa with pmc fmj, and have an ar15 fire control group. It also needs to be cheaper than an m82 by enough to justify not just throwing in a little more and having the real deal m82 or m107. It’ll be a difficult task, but I have faith. Id rather it come out late but reliable than be rushed and unreliable. Good luck and godspeed!

X9, MSP-45, 570 are my votes!

100% agree with you!

So just to come back and talk a bit more on the 9mm PCCs because I really like them, IF they were delayed blowback.

You guys already make some really nice and cool blowback PCCs. You got the regular AR9 that takes Glock mags, you got the AR-V and the AK-V. Theyre all fine, so I dont see the point in releasing a JAKL version just because. What is the differentiator? The folding stock? OK, that’s one thing, Sure they look a little different but you could do some handguard swaps on the current stuff and maybe get it pretty close to the JAKL9 and VUK9.

Now make the JAKL9 and VUK9 some sort of delayed blowback and now you got something. If you can keep it reasonably priced you really got something.

A relatively inexpensive delayed blowback PCC that takes some of the cheapest and widely considered to be the best PCC mags on the market, scorpion mags if anyone doesn’t know what Im talking about, You got a hit there.

Im just one person so grain of salt I guess but right now the VUK9 and the JALK9 look nice but probably I wouldn’t buy one. If they were delayed blowback I would almost certainly buy at least one.

Hey Guys, I voted, it was hard but im sucker for the 9mm PCCs and the .50cal.

Also i noticed when clicking on the link in the text it says 2024 instead of 2025* so had to do a double take to make sure i was voting for the correct thing.

Hopefully they can correct that

I might be sounding like a broken record at this point but I couldn’t agree more. I’m a bit PCC obsessed but only if they offer good performance. Maybe it’ll sell well but I personally can’t see it above about a $800 price point. I’m pretty sure they’re planning for more premium than that. I can only speak for myself but will say I’m more likely to spend $1500 on a delayed action than $800 on another blowback 9mm.

It doesn’t look like the Jakl9 or Vuk9 are likely to win this year and honestly I’m happy about that. Gives another chance for them to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to make them a proper part of their premium lineup. If they come back next year with a delayed blowback version of the Jakl9 I can say that it’ll probably be my first choice and it almost doesn’t matter what else is out there.

Welcome aboard! hope you enjoy your stay!

Hey thanks for joining! we’re glad to have you here! enjooy your stay!

I just bought a Springfield Prodigy 9mm and love it. Over 50 years ago I fell in love with the 1911 and have wanted one ever since. I bought a Kimber but recently sold it because I figured out that it could save lots of loot having only one type of ammo. The Prodigy wasn’t cheap but I’m more than happy.

If you wait for sales or deals, I’ve seen you can get a Prodigy for roughly $1k, maybe a hair more, which I don’t think is that unreasonable, given they charge 7-800 for a Garrison. It could probably be a bit cheaper, but it isn’t that egregious.

My issue is more with the ones that go for multiple times what the Prodigy does. If PSA enters that market, I’d hope their 2011 undercuts the Springfield’s price by a decent amount, but who knows.

There was a promotion going on when I bought mine and I got an extra 3 mags and a decent but not great red dot along with the gun. Waiting for the best deal requires patience and I don’t have much.
I think you’re right in that this would be a great market for PSA to get into. It’s too late for me but I’d love to see them enter it.

I voted for the X9, Emerge, and PSA 22

I’m loving the idea the Idea of X9, but don’t like the choice of mags. Glock mags would be great because that is what i have but I’m surprised they didn’t go with colt style mags like H&R already makes. I also need to add points for the style. Yeah the x5.7 is a sleek MP7 looking thing but the MAC look of the X9 chefs kiss. However if PSA tweeks the X9 at launch to take colt mags and look like an Uzi im pretty sure the market would catch fire.

I like the Emerge for the DIY aspect just please let us have options to make something like a scout rifle. Bolt guns are fun with iron sights.

As for the PAS 22. Who doesn’t like a 10/22?

Does anyone know how long the poll will run and when we will see the results? I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned anywhere.

They will probably run it through monday and then compile. Stay tuned here. Could be a week or so but hopefully sooner.

Give us a Dagger micro sized SWITCH and while you are at it give us a chopped grip with a flush fit 10 round and maybe a 12 with a pinky extension. You have to admit that for a micro, that grip is really long. While I’m asking, how about a PCC that uses micro mags. Then you have a good excuse to give us a micro mag about a foot long. CB
