Shot Show 2025 Concept Gun Poll

Safe queens, if they actually sell. I’m skeptical, think people just saw “.50” and voted, rather than vote for what they will realistically buy.

Frankly I’m disappointed to see it that high, especially since it means it’ll likely be prioritized over the bolt gun or .22 rifle which would FAR outsell it.

Guess I’ll pick one up cheap second hand when folks that buy start getting rid of them

Wonder if the competition stacked the ballot box to get them to focus on something that won’t sell.

this is where im at with it. its a novelty basically cause no one has a place to shoot them correctly half the time. yeah its great its making the .50 more available, but i dont see it being something you see at any range often, as theres rarely anywhere to stretch the legs of it at. kinda sad to me to see that in the list as it took something elses place that coulda been cool.

i wonder what the price point will be, roughly. how inexpesive is inexpensive for the .50 ?? i know barrets arent cheap, and usually anything that is .50 in a rifle usually is around 4500.-5000.00 range around here from what ive seen in the past.

Like the 22LR. I’m hoping it makes the list.

I would hope not, but in this industry I wouldn’t be shocked.

So far I was surprised to see the JAKL 9 in the top 5 given the reaction to it seemed more “meh” than anything being straight blowback, and now the .50 at #2 is even more surprising.

Figured the 570 would run away with it with the announcement of the semi and being able to convert with one receiver, and also thought the .22 wouldn’t be far behind. The results don’t seem to match up much with the sentiment in this topic.

The order is what’s confusing to me. The 570 way too low, the Lancet way higher than what logic would dictate.

well remember they said its not in any order… so the 570 could have been at the top for all we know.

Speaking of the 570 is the pump action in production,

not yet.

Feelz and cool factory over practicality. I have 0 places to shoot a gun with a built in 30moa rail.

jut the clinton house, and we dont have memberships, nor it locally to shoot at

I think my neighbors would like the noise less than the squirrel eradication support.

well you could still do squirrel eradication with it… it’d just need to be from a bit further out… can you imagine what happens to the squirrel when that .50 hits it? lololol

Vaporization is a thing.

I think you misunderstood. They said they aren’t going to be released in any particular order. I’m fairly certain the ranking is actually where they were voted.

So far the top 4 have been what I was expecting. Just in a very different order.

Still fully expect Sabre 11 to be the winner though. From what I’ve seen it’s the only other one with a ton of comments.

I have a feeling the Lancet is the last to actually come to the market. Seems like a pretty involved gun to set up manufacturing for. On the opposite end of the spectrum, guns like the Jakl9 should be relatively easy to set up for.

perhaps. ill see what i can find out from the horse when i see him next. I know i can probably get a solid answer either way from him.

yup #1 is the sabre 11… i wonder whos gonna make them is my concern.

And here I was hoping that the Thumper and Olcan would get on the list.

Maybe the Olcan will get some kind of priority anyway since it’s an expansion to the entire Jakl line? One can only hope I guess. I’d love to see another bullpup option for the Jakl. In the mean time, I guess if I ever want to build a bullpup using a Jakl upper, I’ll just have to go with the SARB chassis (I think that one looks better than the A3 Triad).
