Kind of hoping on the Thumper too !
Ditto
Just because it didnt make the top 5 doeent mean it wont be made.
- Jakl 9
- X9
- 570 Semi
- Sabre Lancet 50 BMG
- Sabre-11
Where is the 22? I would have preferred it over the 50
and of course the 22 can still be made.
I was surprised the Lancet made it over the .22 as well.
I think it would be a very shortsighted move for PSA to not make the .22.
With the powder shortage you know everybody will be going right back to 22.
Me and Kevin just loaded up on 22 rounds last week ![]()
@19foxtrot
Like others have said
“where are you going to shot a 50 cal rifle” ?
I have 20 acres and my longest stretch is 440 yards.
And then who can afford the ammo?
I think the 10/22 will eventually be made. Not sure how quickly.
The question for that is “how close is AAC to making .22LR”? Jamin has said its a caliber he wants to add.
Is there enough meat on the bone though?
You would have to run a line specifically dedicated to nothing but 22 I would assume.
Shutting down a line to run 22 would seem to be cost prohibitive ![]()
The 22 line would be an additional build. That is how it has been since coming online. They have dedicated lines and some that can change over. They have plenty of room.
Cool thanks.
I believe a 22lr line would be completely separate line that would not be able to change over. At least a good portion of it. AAC coming out with bricks of 22lr would be awesome!
Exactly
yeah Jamin wouldnt shut down a line, he’d add another. theyve been doing that with alot of the additional calibers. some they can swap over, but many are independent. 22 being rimfire is a whole nother dog, especially with making the cases im sure, so i dont know how long itll take for him to stand up the line of .22 i can hope it is soon, as i love to shoot some .22.
If we getting 12 gauge buckshot and slugs please
Heck yeah ![]()
I’m sure Jamin will add all of the top calibers in time!
Like the way you are thinking @cncgobrrt
I should rephrase my comments to say they would not want to change a line over to run 22s, not actually shutting a line down.
