Shot Show 2025 Concept Gun Poll

Will they need an additional permit for the type of primer used in 22LR?

12 ga. shorties please !

Idk. But given their relationship with hornady bullets are easily found. I would think the primer would be covered under their current permits.

The primer plant is open, correct? I can’t remember.

Yes

why wouldnt they? due to the difficulty?

i dont think so as they produce their own primer in their own primer factory. that means to me they can make their own .22 primered cases as well.

Sabre Lancet 50 cal, I would own this bad boy!

@steve_lyons welcome to the forums!

Do you have a place to shoot it? I wish i did.

I don’t have a place to stretch out for the full potential distance of a shot from a 50 but what I do have are large berms and abandoned cars, old tvs and other fun stuff to obliterate. It’s not all about long distance shooting, it’s also anti-material shooting.

I get that, but with a built in 30moa rail you are going to need a scope with significant amount of verticle adjustment to get it to zero at a closer range.

So you’re saying a set of Magpul MBUS won’t work?

I honestly hadn’t considered having to adjust like that, makes sense to me now!

Yeah, I don’t think most people picked up on that little tidbit. Even a 20moa rail that some long distance users use is hard to find a scope (and usually they are $x,xxx) that they can adjust. A welded 30MAO rail is a VERY tall amount of adjustment.

Edit, IIRC most scopes use 1 click for 1/4 MOA, so 4 clicks for 1 MOA. So off the bat you would be 120 clicks for even. I know leopold has scopes that do more than 60MOA, but I seem to remember most stop there.

i cant imagine any scope having enough to click it out in the 100’s

Exactly. People like the idea of a cheap 50 though.

There is one it’s not cheap optics though

yeah i bet its not. more of a reason for not to have need for it.

Zrodelta has foundation series has 110 clicks

The 2011 market is hot and crazy right, with prices from 1000-9k. With that being said if palmetto can stay between the 1-2k mark with quality QC they will sell very well. Anything above that will be too much. If it comes in at 23,24 you can save an extra 200 and grab a Staccato P or Bul Armory etc

welcome to the forums @NolaT89 we’re glad to have you.

i would think they are planning to keep the price as low as possiblem… mabye sub 1500 if i had to guess.
