I recently bought a slickside upper. Looks fantastic, haven’t put it on my lower yet (going to paint them). I’m a lefty and didn’t realize what a slick side is. Am I going to eat a lot of brass? Is there some sort of add-on deflector I can install?
Does it have a Picatinny rail ?
If they don’t make a brass deflector that’s pic rail mounted….it shouldn’t be a big deal to make a small one.

It does. That is a good idea. If it kicks the cases back into me I will look into this. Neat idea!

I think it’s amazing….that Ffandpm being a lefty……hasn’t solved this issue by now. I know if I was lefty……that issue would be resolved as soon as I glanced at a potential buy.
Just started! New to builds and never seen a slick side. Regular deflectors work just fine I can shoot righty too, just quicker lefty.
