I just bought my FIRST EVER stripped lower from PSA for my very first AR-15 build. I was like a kid on Christmas. I’m hooked. See photo
I want to do another one, except a pistol with foldable barrel and foldable stock so it can fit in my backpack easy carry when I’m hiking.
I’ve never seen a foldable barrel, but you can find “take-down” kits (barrel and handguard come on/off with a latch) all over the place. They’re what the USAF uses in their emergency kits so the pilot’s weapon fits behind/under the seat. Conversely, you could also just do a pistol build with a folding stock.
Good suggestion. The folding stock adapter would be an option. My 7.5” pistol build is pretty short already. I would use a take down for a longer barrel. That’s my two cents.
Great job and the flag is ‘flying’ in the right direction also
- always charging, never retreating!
