Thanks. It was a pain but I think I made up a few new words during the process. Virgil is a Boston rescue that’s been with us about 6 years and we think he’s around 10 now. The rescue that had him and his brother named him Virgil and his brother Wyatt after the Earp brothers. They always rename the dogs they get. The had 2 pit bull puppies that were brothers and they were the gray ones people call blues. They named them Jake and Elwood. ![]()

Good job.
Guess we should have listened to @GuitarGuy and drilled it to begin with ![]()
Probably but I tend to start with the easier procedures first and then escalate. I hope I can get to the range soon. I’m curious how well this will work compared to the Rare Breed FRT-15L3 as it was more than half the price. Granted the RB is a drop-in cassette fire control group with anti-walk pins and a 3 position bi-lateral safety. With the Super Safety, really all you need is the push button safety and lever. Then you have to do some grinding on the stock trigger and the safety detent. I decided to let them do the modifications and get the whole kit.
I think RB is what I lost in the Gulf of America ![]()
Those boating accidents are truly tragic.
Glad you got it out!
I tried to tell you. I aint the smartest guy in the room but my engineering brain aint dumb.
Hope Virgil feels better soon @string1946
He’s better today. He was pretty groggy yesterday. I just have to poke an antibiotic and pain pill down his throat every 12 hours. I gave him half a nudge (soft dog treat) a little while ago and he scarfed it up.
Thanks for the update @string1946
He looks like a good boy ![]()
