Supreme Court 2A News

The Supreme Court today passed on three 2A cases, all dealing with nonviolent felons trying to get their 2A rights restored.

Still up in the air, Young v. Hawaii over the states’ open carry scheme, and the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC) v. Grewal, banning magazine capacities over 10 rds.

I’m very hopeful for the magazine case, to overturn Colorado’s unconstitutional 15 round limit. Our own effort failed in the State Supreme Court, unsurprisingly.

I won’t hold my breath over the USSC and 2a cases. Their willingness to take them died with Scalia.

I’ve noticed…

But they did take the New York Rifle & Pistol v. Corlett.

That’s an important case as well.

IMO-Every gun law is an infringement. BUT there is too much money to lose the permit process. God given or not the Government will still decide.

i hate that. i had hoped that with trump’s selections we’d of been ok on the ussc, but it appears we arent that lucky.

Is there any news on the non violent offender laws for Colorado?

I’m not a lawyer but just something to keep in mind

This ruling leaves it open for the ATF to use as they please.

Yep

Because Of Course they did.

Nobody on that panel except Thomas actually cares about the Rights of the American Citizen, or the Wording of the Constitution.

Yeah, that was a ridiculous ruling

“Shall not be infringed” seems pretty clear language to me.
