It ALWAYS rains at The Gathering. We are still 2 weeks out, things may change.
Thatās what Iām hoping. I know last year it started out raining but ended up nice! Well they say we came that is
I just wanted to let anyone going this year that has a disability The Clinton House still has some golf carts left to rent. The golf carts do have 4 seats. Since I am coming from 2 hours away I really didnāt feel like having to my truck and deal with the trailer and golf cart.
Iām hoping the Springfield Echelon will be at one of the ranges. Iāve seen and held it but, not shot it yet. I really like the optics mounting system for it.
i wouldnt be surprised if it wasā¦ the Hellion was at the gathering last year before it debuted to the public and we got to shoot it!
It was a learning experience on many levels. There was a certain Turkish manufacturer there had one taken apart trying to fix it and when I tried the shotgun bullpup they drenched in in oil first and it still failed on the first one.

Does anyone know if there will be a vendor map posted before the event. They had one online last year and it is was great knowing what vendors would be at each of the ranges.
If I remember correctlyā¦most of the walking areas were gravel beds. So it should be ok. Iāve seen a couple for forecasts for that Clinton SC and one is calling for a 1/4" of rain and the other is calling for 1/2". Of course the forecasts will change before Friday.
There is a list of vendors on the page but no map yet. Hopefully it will get posted.
iām hoping that the forecast willl change so that we wont have a very wet time.
Hello everyone! Iām excited to come again this year. This time Iām going to bring my girlfriend with me so she can experience The Gathering.
I received a reminder email today from Eventbrite and saw one thing that caught my eye in the FAQ.
Can we bring personal firearms?
NO personal firearms are to be used on the demo bays. The purpose of The Gathering is for attendees to come and try out the latest and greatest from the biggest names in the industry.
*The Clinton House operates as a COLD range, No personal firearms are allowed to be worn while on property.
So my question is has the policy changed since last year? Perhaps because of the recent SC Constitutional Carry? The wording at first seems clear to me, no personal guns shall be shot at the event. But then the asterisk says The Clinton House operates as a cold range which really makes no sense at all. What does that even mean?
good question Sierraā¦ i planed to carry this time as well as i did last year and etcā¦ however i always carried concealed. i think iāll have to ask Josiah on this one and see what he has to say
