My Ruger 10-22s.
Beautiful Larry!
The checkering and furniture on that International is sweet!
TacSol barrel on the Blackhawk l see.
All fine looking 10-22’s
Thank you for sharing…always!
Yeah but they acquired Anderson etc. They always claim lost in those deals to cut taxes down.
Ruger did buy Marlin.
They got the Name and Trademark, Intellectual Property [of the Firearms], and a considerable amount of the tooling and equipment. No Real Estate with the Marlin acquisition, IIRC.
Honestly, I feared they were buying it to Kill it, or at the very least make it a “store brand”. I have been quite pleased and impressed with Ruger-Marlin.
Thanks fellas for confirming…l had no clue Ruger bought AM and that was last month! Actually what got me searching my neighbor brought home 6 heirloom family firearms and one is a prewarning Marlin 39A in very good condition. I forgot they too are a micro-groove barrel like the 60. He is proud to have it next to his 336.
I have 2 I keep saying I am going to send up to a guy in Connecticut to work on to make tack drivers, just haven’t gotten around to it.
woah.. thats a good looking lever.. reminds me of my marlin 3030
I have posted my 10-22 build before but here it is for this thread. It is a 90’s era Ruger 10-22 that I did a full rebuild on with Kidd and Volquartsen parts. I recently swapped out the stock. I fully clearanced the barrel channel for a full free float. I pillar bedded the stock for additional accuracy. She isn’t as accurate as my CZ 455 and CZ 457 but for a semi auto she will hold her own. One thing that I really love is that she is very light. The Volquartsen carbon fiber heavy barrel has a lot to do with that.
I remember this build Greg and you spared no expense …and it shows! I can see it was a original stainless…the trigger group will not be silver these days they come in black polymer. And your receiver stamped “Carbine" w/ SR logo, new production has the “hard R" logo without Carbine stamp. Charger receivers are stamped “Charger". I had 8 beginning this year now down to 5. 2 gifted to granddaughter’s and 1 to grandson. Now they all have a 10-22 from my bench.
Who is the maker of your precision stock? It is beautiful! @1911
i only use the ar15 section of the forum, but thanks to @19foxtrot im here now ![]()
built this on a Grey Birch chassis and carbon fiber barrel assy, it has the Ruger BX trigger pack and KIDD buffer and pins
It is a Boyds At- One adjustable stock. They are very well made and they really do a good job on the fit for each particular manufacturer’s models. I put the same stock on my CZ 455 that I built. I pillar bedded that stock also. Being laminated wood you don’t have any problems with moisture or warping. They are very reasonably priced for what you are getting.

Had a Boyd’s Nutmeg back in the day. Reaper thanks for posting your awesome build! Tastefully done gentlemen
They have a pretty wide selection of different laminate colors. For some reason I really like the grey laminate. I guess that it matches the guns themselves. I have one more Boyds on my Shuffs Mini G that I had built.
its crazy how different the ‘same’ gun can look lol
@Reaper That is one of the really great things about the 10-22 is the wide selection of aftermarket parts. You can do just a little accurizing or do a full on build to squeeze as much of the accuracy out of it as you can.
yup, dont even need Ruger parts
And now l am studying this chassis for the Charger and l like what I’m reading. I’m guessing l will need the forearm to go with to add the bipod? Without it although l see a pic rail a BX25 mag maybe to close for a bipod? Any AR pistol grip will fit? Here l go down another addictive ave!
hard to say on the room it would have without a forearm
yeah any will fit i have the Kungfu grip from Die Free Co
and you’re welcome ![]()
