Exactly what Kastaway81 wrote. It doesn’t matter what the device is……that you add to your “Pistol”.
If the AFT can re-define……it to determine that the accessory that you added……transforms the Pistol to a Rifle……then you violated the NFA.
They don’t have a chance of winning in a court trial…….but they they know that making your life a living Hell and having you pay through the nose in legal fees….keeps most of us in fear of them.
If we could change the laws……where in we could make them pay for our legal expenses….and further penalize them for misconduct……then things would improve.
Nothing improves quality……like making money……or loosing money !
If the AFT….was a business……competing for their business……
They would be bankrupt and OUT of business. The ONLY reason they exist is because they are a government agency.

NFA brace thing…adjustable? Questionable but grandfather-able. Removing straps and such? Don’t recommend it! Forward add-on’s? There’s TONS of write ups on the subject. Google it. AFT? CANNOT make laws- EVER, they can only stir the pot. Right now? Tons of stuff going on so…I’m relaxed with my goodies.

Yea my question about the shark fin grip being legal on a pistol or not is because im in IL and sbr n aow registration isnt an option for us. Since its not a traditional vert grip and handstops n angle’s are ok i was wondering about this one. Just need a yes or no for this moment in time. Send a link for those pages if you could please.
I don’t live in Illinois. For more on your laws and restrictions you need to do your research at the state level because it’s your responsibility to know that so you don’t get in trouble by putting something on your gun you’re not supposed to have.
I live out here in a free gun state. You can hang a Christmas tree under the handguard and no one would care about the only restrictions we have out here are for machine guns and short barrel rifles.
Yer welcome n sorry brother…I won’t give legal advice on stuff like this other than…check yerself for ya rek yer self! The info is out there. Educate before buying, like it says on ALL sellers websites. Check with LGS’s and stuff. REALLY check with your State Regs. State Regs can/will be tighter than Fed Regs. Be careful, safe and make an educated purchase.
