I know it may be sacrilegious and controversial, but, I really like the look of wood furniture on the AR-15 
Anybody have one set up this way? Lovers- Haters? Thoughts

you know i think 10 years ago i’d of said No way, wood doesnt belong on it at all… but as ive matured my AR Tastes, I believe that yes, a very nice wood stock set would be beautiful on an AR. I too like the WOOX stuff, so who knows maybe i’ll build one of those one day.

Honestly the first one I would like to convert to wood furniture is my KS-47. I think doing that and adding a Bakelite magazine would be sweeter than yoo-hoo!

They are surprisingly affordable compared to some of the other AND actually look good! Makes me want to plan a wood build on top of the other 20 projects I have going on at the same time.
