So I’ve had my Dagger for a month or so now. I love it, put 500 rounds through it with no problems until yesterday. I’ve put all kinds of ammo through it. Federal Eagle, Winchester, Sellier & Bellot, and Magtech FMJ in both 115 and 124 grain. I’ve also put Federal Hyda-Shok 124gr, sig V-Crown 124 & 147gr JHP with no issues. Yesterday I tried running Federal Tactical HST, 147 gr and I had a bunch of failed to feed (2-3 times per magazine using both of my magazines). I went back to shooting various fmj ammo and not one failure to feed so the gun was functioning fine. I’ll try it again next time I go to the range but it was strange to me. I have run the HST ammo through my Sig 320X with no problems. Just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with the HST ammo?
I ran Federal HST 124 grain through my dagger no problem. Maybe the 147 grain is just a bit too much for the recoil spring.
