Twin Cities shooters?

Just wondering if there is anyone on here from around the twin cities?

Hastings here (assuming you mean the Twin Cities of MSP & STP)

I did mean twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Nice meeting you ScatPackClub! I’m on the northern side up in Chisago City. Nice to see someone else on here that’s somewhat local. Have you been able to find ammo with any regularity on your side of town?

Yep, Minneapolis Omar ward. Sirens 24/7, head on a swivel and don’t trust anyone.

Central MN here, no sirens, looting or burning to report :+1:

Nada, the ranges I go to don’t even have 223/556 to shoot there. Just bought 100 rounds from PSA. Hate paying $1 a round though.

Nice meeting you Ballhitch! I understand head on a swivel! Be safe, especially later this week. Sounds like there will be a verdict soon.

Nice meeting you drabels! No sirens, looting, etc. is always a good thing!!!

There is a place in Lino Lakes (K & L Surplus and Ammo) that has been pretty good during the pandemic. They pick up from multiple distributors weekly. I buy both 9mm and 556 and the prices are really good compared to online stores but it is hit and miss with the stock they have on hand at any given time. They don’t sell online so they can take care of their local customers (I appreciate that).

I am 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. The best decision my parents made was moving our family out of Blaine in 2010.

Cool! How’s the ammo supply up your direction and do you have many gun ranges/places to shoot?

Down in rochester. New to the state so not up to speed on what’s local to me.

Welcome to MN! Word of advice, if possible, get out of the city and into the country. The rural areas are so Red, we almost flipped MN on 2020. The city’s on the other hand, are very Blue and where all the b riots happen.

There was nothing at the Rogers Cabelas on 4/24 other than some steel waterfowl loads, buckshot, and some 17 rimfire. I did score some Barnes .338 210 grain bullets, 50 for 45$. No bargain cave in that store anymore :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Doesn’t surprise me:-( It seems that all the larger stores around the twin cities have no 556, 9mm or 22LR. I’ve only been find it irregularly at various small gun shops. I can’t wait until things get back to somewhat normal!
