What does STR 2 Stage mean? I know it’s a 2 stage trigger, but what does the STR mean?
I think you’re giving a part of the description of a rifle. It is M-lok STR which is “storage type, restricted”. That is a description of the stock of the rifle. And then it’s a 2 stage trigger. So it’s M-Lok MOE STR with a 2 stage trigger.
Oh OK, can you please explain storage type restricted better?
Also, this trigger pull is about a 4.75lbs pull according to the scales. I think i would like a single stage trigger with about a 2lbs pull for better accuracy for longer range shots. I have my Remington 700 270 adjusted to about 1.5 lbs pull and love it. Any reason i shouldn’t do that with this rifle and any recommendations for a better trigger.
There are the CTR stock and the STR stock. The STR stock has 2 water resistant battery tubes.
About the trigger… I don’t know what rifle you’re talking about so can’t help. But the trigger is up to you.
I’ve never had a rifle with a 2 stage trigger but from what I hear in conversation is that they are better for target shooters. I would keep it with the 2 stage just to see how I like it, changing triggers is a pretty easy job so I wouldn’t stress on it. But if I found that I preferred a single stage I wouldn’t hesitate to change it.
