PSA 2 Stage trigger heavy pull?

I have a PA-10 kit, that came with the PSA " 2 stage" kit. The advertised weight is 4.5 lbs and 2.5 on the single. ( seems like an odd 2 stage trigger, you take up the slack and hit the wall then feel the break) I can say it feels heavier than 4.5 lbs. More like 5.5 or so. I noticed some guys ordered a JP enterprises spring kit like this one JP Enterprises Trigger Spring Kit AR-15 3-1/2 lb Reduced Power

Anyone have experience changing out springs on this trigger?

Changing the springs is not hard, but that is a great trigger once you get used to it. All my rifles have 2 stage triggers (albeit I use Geissele) and the 2 stage triggers are super easy when you get used to it. I expect the wall, and then get a consistent non grit pull for the 2nd stage.

@_TopSpurPNW Did you replace the trigger spring? I feel like the 2 stage trigger on my PA-10 is heavier than 4.5 lbs. If you did, what spring did you end up using?

I ended up buying a JP reliability kit ordered as of yesterday. When I moved I lost my original one, so I never got around to installing it. I’ll report back when I get it installed and try it out. Otherwise I’ll most likely be going Giselle SSAE drop in
