Thats why PSA has done things such as fix/repair the concrete in the plant. They bought a used building and are investing $100m+.
Reminds me of back in the day when I had to figure out how to mill a C-130 wing spar section on 12’ Haas Gantry Router. Had to put in a man door in the side of the shop and fixture the crap out of it to make it work. At the end of the day we made it and made it right.
That’s good to hear. I hope they take their time.
Pretty amazing what they are doing I love their entrepreneurial spirit. Investors at JJE Capital will be well rewarded for their investment and thank heavens for private equity funding. With the way wokeness has infiltrated the banking industry I doubt they could have found one to float the loan. Go PSA get er dun. Dang my typos are awful sorry not enough coffee on board yet.
Well if they sell enough they can always just up production. I don’t expect much to start but hopefully they get it moving. There certainly is a demand for it. Assuming AAC is making them, they have been able to keep the price of 300 blackout way cheaper than anyone else.
Any update on 7.62? Jamin said on arfcom it’s about 3 weeks out on nov the 15th. I thought we would have heard something else by now.
Havent heard anything lately.
I see 763x39, but out of stock. Is it a preliminary ad, or did it actually drop but sold out quickly?
Hasnt dropped yet but is close if on the website.
Was hoping for a slightly cheaper price. It’s getting into brass case range.
Bidenomics probably.
I didn’t see a price. What was it going for at the time it was in stock?
Price per round is $.45 as listed.
Let’s go already!! 545/39.
I bought 500 of the Target Sports USA Republic steel cased 7.62x39 and it runs flawlessly. Also burns significantly cleaner than Wolf/Tula which is nice for suppressed shooting. I paid $174 to my door so call it .35 cents per round delivered. PSA can probably sell all they make even priced much higher. Hard to imagine they are .45cps plus shipping plus tax. The PSA will certainly be above .50cpr delivered which is a solid 42% over Target Sports price.
Well, they’re out of it now.![]()
Just sign up your phone and email so you get the alert fast. Their Republic brand comes in and out of stock at about the same rate as various factory loads. I have so much 7.62x39 I wasn’t in a hurry to try it, but had waited for PSA to get theirs to market. Figured I’d try the Republic since it was in stock. Doubt I’ll be trying the PSA at their price point, but if Republic ever goes ‘ghost’ on supply you take what you can get.
No. The cheapest 7.62x39 on target sport usa currently is 50 cents a round. in fact, theres nobody who is selling 7.62x39 for any less than 47 cents a round on ammobuy.com, and no less than 42 cents a piece on ammoseek.com, and those who ARE selling for that low on ammoseek, have insanely high shipping prices, making the total cost come out to 52 to even 70 cents a round.
Yes they are sold out of the steel cased right now, but Republic has both steel and brass cased 7.62x39. I bought the steel cased when it was in stock it’s fantastic. Here is the link to the steel cased for anyone interested. I have the 8% off annual membership so it’s 8% off that price plus free shipping every day of the year.
As you can read by the reviews it is universally liked.
