Is anyone else having issues with ups since their whole deal with 80% stuff? I ordered a mag/ammo bundle from psa and it said “shipped” on Monday with an arrival of wed… come wed, still no progress on shipping until later that night when I request more info… then I finally got an origin scan and a delivery of today… it arrived just now and my box is open… seems kinda sus, and in no part on psa, considering ups recent nonsense… any thoughts from y’all?
I ordered ammo Wed night. Shipped yesterday and arrived today. No issues.
Weird… that is usually my experience with psa as well… I wouldn’t have thought much of the delay if my box had not arrived open…
For me, UPS has typically been very efficient. Periodically, they get drivers that think they can get away with appropriating packages that contain products from sporting goods companies like PSA. I was fortunate to be able to work with UPSs customer service when I had an “incident” a couple years ago. The call was escalated to “possible theft” and the package magically appeared at my doorstep about 5pm.
I knew a couple UPS managers, and one of them had his hands full with a union that let the workers get away with smoking pot and other things on the job. Pretty much untouchable. Don’t know if that’s still the case.
My ammo shipped a week or so ago, came on time. Box was all smashed up. Other than that it was good. Ammo goes bang.
Ordered ammo evening of the 15th, delivered on the 19th everything ok.
Wild ■■■■ man… ya… I don’t mind a delay if there were one… i know things are out of whack across the board as far as supply chain goes… it’s the open package that concerns me, considering their whole ghost gun bullshit they caught heat for… if ups opened my package; that’s not ok… pretty crazy tho, from ur story it seems like they were trying to steal from you…

I ordered on 2 back to back ammo orders on 7/19, one arrived 7/21 the other 7/22, absolutely no complaints, less expensive than local stores and free shipping, doesn’t get better than that unless AAC does a 1K pac with free shipping with loose bulk pack pricing
Oh ya, no complaints on psa at all… Im not much of a brand loyalist, but I am with PSA… I’m more concerned with ups and people putting their noses in my mail…
Unfortunately the criminal value system will always be out there weather it be porch pirates or shady employees within the shipping companies.
UPS IS checking packages. I had 2 seperate packages that were opened and retaped from UPS. 1 barrel and one upper were clearly opened by SOMEONE, and then re-taped, pretty crappy job too, but i did recieve both, and both were delivered late. I WILL avoid shipments from UPS from now on
Ya… that’s what I was thinking… it’s not ok by me that they’re doing this, and that it seems to have affected my packages… if y’all are willing to sit on your hands that’s fine. But not me… I think it’s time to start blockading their trucks, I live near a distribution hub…
I’m guessing that if ups were the one checking the package for the gub’mint, they would use a scanner to look. The opening and bad re-taping indicates to me a ups employee that’s considering adding your stuff to his collection. That should be reported to ups right away. JMHO
Exactly. UPS is not intentionally opening packages.
I just had a similar issue as Blvo. I ordered some ammo and mags; no problem on PSAs part.
A few days later, I received notification from UPS and PSA stating the package would arrive that day. Later the same day I received notification from PSA that there was some kind of issue and delay and that I should call UPS (of course all I got was an automated response). I got a notice the next day that the package was again out for delivery. It did arrive, but the package had been retaped. Was it held up to be opened and inspected or did the package become unsealed in transit and taken back to the shipping warehouse to be resealed before delivery–I have no idea??
So do you guys think that UPS is targeting specific shipper’s packages and opening them for what reason? Especially if the ship to is in a normal State and not a communist one. I don’t think so.
I ordered ammo from PSA two weeks ago. It was here in 4 days including a weekend. The box had not been opened, the tape was original and the individual boxes were still in the plastic shipping wrap.
With amm you know what it is also due to the stickers on the box.
Ammo… ya… but they’re looking for plastics:. Namely 80%… so if it’s just ammo and they saw that then they may not have opened it… but if it had plastics like mags, they might have inspected to “destroy” suspected skawwy ghost guns…
They are not opening random packages to destroy 80% guns. Come on guys, not everything is a conspiracy.
UPS, FedEx, and even USPS have trouble with packages that get damaged. With the technology of today, things are GOING to get damaged. And when they do, they will be retaped and delivered.
